hi chef Jon Howie here from C star restaurant and Rob our and plank cooking calm today I'm gonna do a puccini mushroom crusted halibut baked on a cedar plank with cremini mushrooms really wonderful dish so what we have is we have a halibut block cut that we've already put some of our porcini mushroom rub on and this is primarily dried Italian porcini mushrooms a little bit of dehydrated lemon juice a little bit of salt some thyme and that recipe is on plain cooking calm as well or we have it available it's three chefs in a tough spice rubs and seasoning blends we've already done it on the halibut now we're gonna add some to the mushrooms a little funny but we are gonna season mushrooms with mushrooms so that a little lemon juice into the mushrooms some olive oil and toss them up and they're gonna be ready to go it's lightly coated this again is another dish where everything goes in the oven and then we'll turn the halibut over halfway through and all of the mushrooms and everything will cook while they're in the oven with the halibut so we'll throw the mushrooms around the outside of the halibut and just a small squeeze of lemon over the top of the halibut to finish before we put it in the oven so those squeeze the lemon there and they're ready to go so let's put it in the oven okay lovely halibut with Cheney mushroom crust served with mushrooms seasoned cremini mushrooms beautiful dish garnish some lemon that's color parsley and you have absolutely beautiful dish that you can serve to your friends and family hold on one plank it's very simple you
