variety since that time of year sore throats cold seasons upon us I've got to be the particularly me throat so I'm going to do is going to make a little bit of a syrup using the trusty lemon a little bit of raw honey some ginger and away we go so I'm going to grab maybe two or three lemons then we get stuck into the kitchen and get it done so you grab some fresh lemon you one two maybe we've got three make it three three beauties now I've got the lemon I'm going to head back into the kitchen and grab some real honey a little bit of ginger and make the syrup alright so all the ingredients we need so we've got our fresh lemons off the tree some fresh ginger a local raw honey a knife and a jar to put everything in and then a cup of hot water all right let's get into it so the thing we do we grab the lemon we're going to do is going to slice this into disks just continue to cut these disks right through then once you've done that cut them up into four quarters grab your piece of ginger slice that up what we're going to do is place all these little quarters into the jar press them down get a little bit of juice coming out pop the ginger in add some honey then make sure you just move around little bits of ginger just so we can create some pockets for the honey to move down into there you have it so once the honey makes us all its way down to the bottom of the jar it'll leach out all the juices from the ginger and the lemon making the syrup now here's one that I made earlier prepared earlier so as you can see plenty of liquid in there and then all we want to do is from there move that this out the way and here we've got our hot cup of water all you want to do is just pour that syrup into your cup of hot boiling water and Cheers is to a good nice soothing throat
