yeah let's go adventuring in minecraft woohoo yeah oh yeah let's go explore yes sir we're going to explore yeah this boat sucks hi my name is casey aka the megaminder and in this project minecraft series i'm going to be showing you how to build this boat in just five easy parts it's a great simple design that can be easily constructed perfect for pirate themed servers special games of pvp or just a fun build activity that can act as your base in single player the five parts will be one constructing the whole two building the mass and captains quarters three sales and cannons four details five bonus ideas tips and how to expand boat and design in most project minecraft videos i have a specific list for what you need in order to build this creation unfortunately i constructed this back about four months ago and i do not remember how much of what item it took so what you'll need for this video is a crap ton of wood and a crap ton of wool and some extra tools in blocks okay guys let's get started so first what you're going to want to do is you're going to want you're going to want to find a nice um c area that'll be big enough to fit a design that's about 21 blocks long and about 9 blocks across and i don't think height will be a problem but you're going to want to make sure you have um enough room to fit the boat in obviously but yeah let's start with building the hole we're only gonna do the haul for this episode and then we'll go into more detail as time goes on but yeah so we're just gonna get out some wooden planks and as you can probably see in the water here i've already marked it out a bit right here i believe it's 7 by 13 um for this main section so you're just going to want to leave a foundation of 1 2 3 4 5 six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen see i was right thirteen by nine i believe so one two three four five six up nuts it's uh 13 by seven so we're gonna leave down a foundation of 13 by 17. now i'm using this glowstone underneath the water because it's an it's a snow biome so technically the ice would freeze so that's why i have glowstone and the reason i had those four corners picked out is so i could perfectly match it up for this boat as well okay so then we're just gonna fill in all this and hey if you're new to the mega miner channel be sure to subscribe if you enjoy these videos we post um them usually monday wednesday a 13 by seven and then after this we're going to take our wooden planks yet again we're going to look over and we're going to shift over one block put down two shift over put two down and then fill in this and i need some more fill in that then we go to the end here and i also was using this as a marker and then you'll want to just lay three across like this so you just want to lay down your 7 by 13 base and then i add on this part which is 5 by 2 and then add on the last part that's 1 by 3 and then we're just going to replicate the exact same thing on the other side so we go over here just like that then we put it like that also it should be mentioned that a lot of people have been giving me suggestions on what they'd want to see or what they want tutorials on so if you want something me to build something and show you guys i'd be more than happy to it just depends on how much free time i have um and stuff like that but just pm me on youtube the real mega miner okay so we've laid our foundation for the boat so far and you may notice that we've got the cannons right here um we're just gonna disregard those for now and come back to them so now that we've got the base we're gonna build it up four high or three high i'm pretty sure it's three high so we're just gonna do that for now so um and it's on top of the base layer so one two okay yeah we're just doing three yep just three so we're gonna lay down two right now and then on top of the second layer we're going to put a third layer so just follow as i do okay just like that and we're done okay or no we're not done duh we gotta go up one more layer and i think we'll just like that okay and we're just about there oops my bad all right so we've got our basic main shape for the boat of course and now what we're going to do is we're going to cap it off at the top now don't worry there will be light coming through and there will be other torches but for now i'm just going to place some temporary torches down here so we don't get mob spawning technically i don't have mobs on because i need to show you guys how to build the boat in the most efficient way possible and yeah so we're just gonna put down some temporary torches but for now i think we're just gonna lay down some blocks on the top if i remember correctly it's funny because i built the boat way back in like february or march so it's what august now so it's been a while it's not like i just came up with these designs it's been in my single player world and i just liked the design so much that i thought i would show it to you guys so yeah oops hate when that happens i know right okay we're just about done capping it off i'm gonna use the fly mod that i have right now all right and we're good okay now that we're on top here we're going to peer out off of the boat so we're going to go over here and we're going to get more of our wood blocks and we're going to lay down them on this third layer right here like that see how we're making this right here we're forming that then we're gonna wrap around the boat and keep on adding another layer you may need to watch the video just a couple times to get the hang of it but like i said if you ever have any questions i'm usually on a couple times a day for my youtube channel i don't want to get a backlog of personal messages and also lately guys i've been getting a ton of questions about how do you make minecraft videos how do you get popular how do you get noticed and a lot of youtubers they only give like tips on how to do it but i'm thinking i'll do a complete guide i'm by no means an expert i'm only at 250 right now but i've learned from a ton of other normal youtubers and a whole bunch of other minecraft youtubers as well as my own personal experience in this summer um sort of thing they're a ton of squid around anyway so now we've got the wrap around next we're going to go up top and we're going to add a lit we're going to add a layer on top of this new thing we just set up so like this see um and don't worry we'll add the there's gonna be more see how there's like the wave well not maybe see how the detail kind of branches out like that don't worry we'll get to that see that over there how the front of the hole looks don't worry we'll make sure we get that okay almost quite done with the railing and i think these wooden blocks will turn into stairs but i think we'll go back and edit those later but just for now we're going to stick with this um because we just want to get the rough general outline because if we go through it step by step it might be a little harder and a little more complicated but this is what we got so far baby's got cats okay um so we have that right now and i think what we're going to do um or should we end the video right here i'm not quite sure we have the basic outline i think we'll go and do the front and back of the hole and then we'll finish the video oh uh but it's getting nighttime so far we've done the main hole that goes straight up and we put the rail around as well it's getting dark so i'm going to go to sleep in minecraft and we'll come back we'll finish the detailing like uh hole jutting outward and backwards and then we'll wrap up the video um i'll be back in just a second okay guys we're back and i was studying my own design just to make sure i didn't screw up every anything while we were um in the building process and here's what we're going to do first when designing the front of the ship i'm not exactly sure i know the bottom thing is called the hole but i'm not sure what the stern is or whatever so we're designing the front part of the whole i'll say for now so we're going to turn around and right here we're going to place a block here so do that on both sides like that and then after that we're gonna see how um see how the boat kind of goes like um see see we place this block here and see how it goes diagonal this block is already placed so we're going to place one here to follow that diagonal pattern so go around to the other side place it there let me make sure i get this right there we go okay then we're gonna go around and place a block where is it okay um right above the one we placed here and then two right here then we go around and do the same thing so turn around place it in like a little triangle form like this okay so we've got part of it taking shape um so now that we've got that we're going to uh go out and do the middle part so we need to place a block straight in the middle then two going out like this see where that torch is we just place that down right there and then that jets out two so we're gonna need to build it i think three now we got we gotta like that and then that i'm not quite sure that comes out two over this so place one two three four there and then that stair piece will go right here okay so now that we've got this front part now what we need to do is place a block here and a block here nope that is not right never mind okay um it's starting to take shape sorry about that mistake there so we've got that part right there now we wanna um make sure we get this part down right here so it looks like that see how it goes two up two up two up two kind of like that um we're gonna make sure we get that so we're going to fill it in so that it's right there that is right there and then we got to fly up oops wrong that right there so fill it in like that see that then since we have this two part um right after that two part comes the one one one if that if this makes any sense to me sometimes it doesn't make sense but by all means i do not want anybody lost these are supposed to be simple so then we just place one here here and here and that's what one side of the hole should look like and let me just double check verify thingamajig okay that's looking pretty good um okay now we just got to replicate the same thing on the other side so let's fly over there so we need what is that the two first i think that's what we need so we put that there we need to build this out so then we've got another two two and then is that correct i think i just screwed it up no no we need to get rid of these and we put this one here ah there we go okay um just make sure you get this down um so there we go um is that quite it for this side i think that's good let me double check yep that's looking pretty yeah that's okay great so we just narrowed down narrowed down that's where the boat gets there uh we just got down that part let me go ahead and get a stair and put it on the end because that'll irk me if i don't do it now and it's starting to get dark so i think we'll wrap up here with putting on the stair piece and then after that we'll go back and we'll finish building the back and then we'll close off the video so i'll go to sleep in minecraft and then we'll come back and finish up guys so hope if you need to re-watch that part again be sure to do that there'll be an annotation so you know when to go to but anyway um we'll come back when it's daytime just second guys okay guys we're back and i was just looking at the back part and the back part should be a lot easier to do um you'll notice that it's not got as weird funky designs so hopefully should be a lot easier for you guys to do so first what we're going to start out doing with just the wood we're going to go right over across to here and we're going to place one block here and then we're going to wrap around do the exact s exact same thing on the other side and you'll notice how you know the thing like i was talking about earlier with the twos it's just looks like the exact same thing so two over up two up two up two and it just continues that except for the back but yeah okay so let's keep on doing that so now that we place the block here place the block here and we're gonna go up and place a block here so let's go over and place these two now now let's replicate that on the other side so move over like this put it like that like that i believe is that correct um no this one right here needs to go so scratch that take away this one or at least for now take away this one we may put it back later and did i put it there no i did not okay so we've got this little mini part starting to take shape now what we're going to do is go to here and just place two blocks right here like this and just go until it's narrow just like that simple now we're gonna make sure we follow it up in the back by just placing two blocks here one block here one block here one block here i find it uh easy to do that when i'm watching minecraft tutorials i put my shortened version of uh the minecraft window on one side and i put the video on the other so if you need to do that while i'm building just follow along and do that now the last thing we need to do is place a block here move on to the other side and put it right here and let me just double check okay this looks just like the back so as you can see guys we came out
