hey guys what's up it's uniform where in today's video we have another paracord tutorial this one is going to be on how to make the coyote trail braid and it ended up being pretty cool so i really hope you guys enjoy it first off i want to say i actually found this tutorial by board paracord i'll leave a link to that in the description if you want to see that mine i use the mad max style closure i'm using a kind of maroon color and a dark blue i'll have the exact links in the description to where you can buy those anyway so we're going to start off with the red cord here and you're just going to find the center point and then do a little cows hitch and then take your blue cord and put that through there and then also find the center of that then you're gonna tighten the cow's hitch and then this is where the pattern really starts so just like all paracord patterns it's actually pretty easy after you get the hang of it so you're gonna take your base color which in my case is the red and you're just going to go ahead and take the right cord and put it behind left cord then the left cord is going to go under that right strand and then up through the loop and then it's just going to have basically a regular knot but the reason why you should follow those instructions is just because the knot has to be going a certain way so it's just easier if you do it that way then you're going to take your right red strand and you're just going to pull it up a little bit so you have a loop and then you're going to take your left blue strand and you're going to go under the first red strand over and then under and then you're just going to pull that through and then you're going to take your right blue strand making sure it goes over the right red strand and then you're just going to pull it down through that same loop and the blue strands are going to go off in the same direction to the right then you're just going to want to go ahead and tighten that something i noticed while doing this pattern is you're going to want to kind of leave one of the strands loose which is just how it ended up looking best for me because when i tightened it too much it ended up looking it ended up having like gaps in the middle of it so if you have that problem then the key to that is the cord that goes off to the left so the red one here that's going off to the left you're not going to want to tighten that as much once you get through the first through braids and also you're going to make sure that that same strand but just the right side of it you're going to want to pull that up a little bit then you're just going to go ahead and do the same thing with the blue and take the right cord and put it behind the left cord then the left cord is going to go under that right strand and then up through the loop then you're going to pull that right blue strand up a little bit to create another loop and then the red left strand is going to go under the first blue strand over and then under again and you're just going to want to pull that through and the right red strand is going to go over both the first two blue strands and then follow the same path as the other red strand and you're just going to pull it all tight so that is essentially the pattern you're going to keep doing that alternating colors red blue red blue until you get to about the length of your wrist or an inch shorter as you're doing this braid if you notice the front of the braid is beginning to look like the back of the braid then you're going to want to loosen that one strand on the left like i mentioned before and not so much that it's really loose but just enough to kind of keep its shape now as you're doing the braids if you notice any that kind of look funny or stick out a little or a little looser than some of the other ones then just go through and tighten those all the way down to the bottom and then you're going to go ahead and pull the main color strands through the two top loops you can use either strands actually but i would go with the main color just because it keeps it a little more secure over time and when you do this they're going to go from the middle of the bracelet out that is just the way that i did them because i prefer it like that so that way there's no gap in the middle of the cord if you understand what i'm saying you can do it either way but this way it was it was just tighter so that's what i did you're just going to want to cut and cinch the blue cords and then you're going to want to take the bracelet and put it over the largest part of your hand to make sure that it'll fit and this will be like the largest setting on the bracelet and then we're just going to tie a knot you can do any kind of knot that you want here but i just went with a standard knot just because it's just my favorite design it's just a nice clean simple design i used to do the lanyard knot but those were just a little too large for this type of bracelet in my opinion this is just what i use but once again you can do whatever you want now when tying this knot you just want to make sure that the two cords don't switch paths so they stay on the same side then you're just gonna move that knot to wherever you measured earlier that will fit your wrist and then you're just gonna cut a little bit away from the knot and then singe these two cords separately if you want you can cut it close to the knot and then cinch them to the knot which looks good too i just prefer this design and then that is literally the end of the bracelet if you guys want to see more paracord tutorials then please let me know in the comments because i will be happy to make some this ended up being one of my favorite designs so thank you to board paracord for making that main tutorial once again link is in the description but i really hope you guys enjoyed this if you did make sure to leave a like comment subscribe and as always thanks for watching bye
