so black what you're trying to do is keep the black part about a centimeter or a bit more somewhere between centimeters in here and a half or half an inch apart above the white and you want to keep it the same distance all the way and again I'm going to just skip this part here for now catch that up after we start here so you start it back you keep the scissors parallel to the white part and just work your way to the front if you want you can use your finger down then just to see if you keeping your parallel but bit of practice pretty much just good tie if you have a horse with a particularly thick mane this one doesn't have um you may find that you have to do the black in two passes because do it all at once it just ends up squishing hair forward and then it ends up all jagged now one technique here is one thing you want to be careful of is when you're cutting that you don't push the hair forward because if you push it forward up and doing here and then cut it and it comes back it's going to be taller so to avoid doing that make sure that as you cut that you if the air gets in for the scissors back as you cut just cut very slowly now one thing to watch out for - is that as you get to front you get this nice curve sometimes you look the ultra suddenly that turn into a steep jump so what we need to do is alter up and just approach it up doesn't happen so much in this motion doesn't sing so that's good luck it's pretty much right now before we move to actually cutting the other side what I'm going to do is I'm going to wrap the other side what that is done is it's moved it's pushed all the way here on the other side off and we can make sure that we cut it leveled with black there we're just cutting off anything in white here in the seat sticks up the block here see in a minute that's important okay I'm just going to finish the back here as well if your horse doesn't work one kickers summertime you don't like to worry about but this so I'm just going to push this up cut it to the right shape okay and now we're seidel and forget so I mean alright your hair at the other side there's two clippings that we're left there I'm doing the first side let me brush those off and the other side still down if you meant to go but I'm just going to a little bit more just to make sure everything up and there we go now this side is actually quite easy I already have a shape name right all you need to do is cut just like on the other side where you cut the black just a centimeter higher than the white you wanted to do the opposite here you just want to cut the white center your lower and what you've got on the other you just start the front and work your way back now with some marshes a white hair and black hair very well separated and it's easy to get the scissors and behind the white and I'm getting in the black and with other horses they're a little bit more intertwined so you have to do a lot of little jiggly jiggly to get this is usually been going here and you'll still end up cutting off a few black hairs and it doesn't really matter because most of the ones where they are any climate that they have a really really big black part anyway so it doesn't matter if you have a few black hairs over dawei there are some horses where Y is very thin and it's intertwined and if you're not careful and cutting a hole in the black part and the best way to mitigate damage from that is to cut only a little tiny bit at a time because if you only had a little narrow hole then you can call me over and you never sleep she's cover a little bit as there are couple closetcon sometimes they'll player when you're after your brush remain up if your brushes to what they'll be water running down your neck and that will set them shaking because they think it's flies so that happens just brush the water off always a little a good idea in your head of where the horses feet are either moving because you're spending with your toes right from her feet so I suggest steel toe loops or just being word she's not going to step on your feet on purpose but by accident especially if she's very fidgety put into the back here waiting three thins left a very carefully I hold it won't slip position kind it and then just messed up stuff in one kid will just do the best of the canyons make the shape right okay sometime I comb it up again and look from off some other places you didn't get it quite right shape here this is quite a long that's a little bit of cult into the beginning or because the horses version in the way just touch it or not whether you just dentist to look nice and sharp when it's done not fussing indistinct and just stand back and take a look so that takes care of me
