you live in that area we can definitely help you with the roof cleaning in this video specifically I want to talk about hiring a roof cleaner this this is six things that I would recommend looking for when hiring a root cleaner you know how do you hire the right roof cleaning company I mean you're dealing with somebody who's gonna be on top of your roof and it can potentially cause a lot of damage up there and the damage that happens to a roof ends up happening to the whole house you know because you know any rain that comes ends up ruining everything below it so you definitely want to hire the right person for the job and I want to help you out with that number one ask about their process are they using a pressure washer not low pressure none of that are they using a pressure washer to get it done if the answer is yes then I would not recommend going with that company pressure washing destroys the roof even if it's a low pressure it's harmful to the shingles it's a well-known fact that using their pressure washer on a roof is not the preferred method for getting a roof cleaned so that's number one it's simple simple as that number two do they have references if you cannot call somebody to see how their experience was with this company then I would not recommend going with that company now if they are new then that's understandable if they're trying to get their business off the ground I totally understand that but if they're making all these outrageous claims have been in business for years but you don't have anybody that you can call to see how their experience was I would stay away from that company and not only that but you want to make sure that whenever you call these references or if you look into their service that they actually gave a good report back that this company did a great job and see how their experience was so number three are they local now I'm not talking abut I say local I'm not I'm not saying are they do they live in your area I'm talking about do they regularly serve your area is this a regular local company that serves your area if that is the case if they regularly serve then that would be a good company but if they if you can't pinpoint where their business is for example I'm here in the Greenville area will also serve up in Atlantic Beach now that wouldn't be considered local but I have a business location you can find me you can send me a letter at my address you know where I'm at I make sure you know where I'm at that that's what I mean by local you I can be contacted that's that's a better way to say it can they be contacted can they be found if something happens to your roof and you need to call them and you know if there's problems you want to make sure you can contact you want to make sure that they're friendly and the communications are clear so that's what I mean by local stay away from the fly-by-night businesses the guy who who claims he can clean your roof but he actually is not a real business he's just here today and gone tomorrow and you can't find him anymore I would stay away from those those type of um people who make those claims number five are they insured you're dealing with someone on top of your roof who could potentially cause tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage you want to make sure that that can be covered so if they are not insured I wouldn't recommend hiring that company and number six are they making outrageous claims now we do offer a clean pro no grow five year warranty that is the clean Pro guarantee that is one of our warranty services if if the infestations that we took care of on your roof grows back within five years we will come out and clean that and take care of that problem for you but I'm talking about claims such as an extra coating that will keep your roof clean for ten to fifteen years if that was the case shingle companies would be putting that product in their shingles so I would stay away from companies who make outrageous claims about an extra coating and can build your shingles from the inside out and things like this that's just an outrageous claim shingles would be putting that product in in their material if that was the case the only thing that prevents the growth is 100% kill ratio that is what our soft wash solution does I killed the gross 100% and it takes up to five years for them to regrow so that is a very reliable claim that can be backed with facts so I hope that helps number one let's just review don't if they're using a pressure washer then I would not recommend it make sure they have references make sure they can be contacted so that if something goes wrong you can find them stay away from the fly-by-night businesses that aren't real businesses make sure they're insured
