hi my name's Lauren from the number one beach shop in the nest patio tutorial today I'm going to be showing you how to create a remembrance poppy brooch these brooches are now available in kept form from the number one beach shop and online and we will donate 10% of every Quetzal to the Poppy Appeal they come in three different sizes small medium and large and in this video I'm going to be showing you the easiest way to create the pocket brought with the best results in the kit you will get the 5 petals the middle section and the pop you brought back all the extras you will need is eastex those and glue and some masking tape to make the brooch we just need to take a small section of masking tape and we're going to leave the petals in order with the colored side facing down on top of the masking tape now you will end up with the small gap in the middle that's absolutely fine because this is where when we come to do it the middle section will set and it will hate that once you have got all your poppies in place we then need to take the brought back now I am going to set it and a kid we came aboard we're also available from the number one beach shop but you will just need anything that soft that will be able to wedge the pop you brought back into to hold it in place well you can get your petals glued on and they annoy wait for the glue to cure I put a slice of paper underneath my kit my keyboard just in case any glue goes through these holes I don't want it to go into the onto the table then going to take the e6000 glue and pour a generous amount onto the poppy brooch back now it doesn't matter if you do spell it because this glue is very strong but once it's had 24 hours to cure it can peel off a materials quite easily so you don't need to worry about it spilling too much once you have put the glue on the pocket brought back but then going to take the pencils and set them on top of the brooch back leg so I'm just going to push down gently to get them all in place as best and if you do have sort of put something even just the chip of glue or a weight of some kind just to set it on top of the poppy brooch well the glue takes 24 hours to cure let's just make sure the petals stay in place although the masking tape will do that for you as well after 24 hours and the glue has set you will end up with something that looks like this now as you can see the pocket brooch has stuck down to all the petals and all you need to do is peel off the masking tape to reveal your set petals on the brooch now at that stage if there's any glue on the petals just use your kneel or any kind of sharp object just to scrape away the excess glue and it will just pillowy the last section we need to do to complete the plot is to put on our medal section again I'm just gonna leave the brooch in the kumihimo board as a base I'm gonna take some Maurice X days and glue and place it again a gymnast helping end the medal you can do all these safeties at once f you wish but it s better to do them or to separate these two like the petals to stay at first and then add your centerpiece wet the liver states of glue drying in the in adding the glue again also makes the pencils extra secure so it makes you grow much more more secure so the plate the glue and I'm just gonna sit the same two piece on top like so yeah and I'm just gonna leave that for another 24 hours to cure then once you're pull paper which is have all said this is Ben here thank you for watching you
