the diaper baby girl project is great for a centerpiece for a baby shower or to give the new mom to be we're going to start out with 21 size 1 diapers a newborn outfit with long sleeves and long pants actually it's it's a footed outfit a hat a pacifier and a blanket you can use any outfit that has long sleeves and long pants or a gown and any size diaper that you would like the larger your outfit the more diapers are the larger size diapers you'll need to use well start the project off by rolling our diapers we're gonna start off with the traditional way and these four will become our arms and our legs to roll a diaper you start with the design or the front and you roll it in side making a nice tight roll and you can secure that as I said we will have four of these for the arms and legs the next step will be to work on the body the body will consist of two sections the chest and the butt the chest is smaller than the but typically so I'm going to start with 6 diapers for the chest and 8 for the but the first diaper I will the traditional way and then each diaper after that I will just roll over this one until I have six and then I'll put a rubber band around them I'll do the exact same thing with eight diapers as I've already done and then when they're done all you got to do is squish them down just a little bit so they're not quite so rounded for the head we're gonna take three diapers and we're gonna roll them a little differently we're gonna start by opening them up and folding them long ways before rolling them up if you need to put a rubber band on in between each diaper you can these diapers may not be able to be reused because of all the folding sometimes the absorbent material gets misplaced the other diapers should be able to be reused when the diaper cake is taken apart by the new mother okay this is going to be our head so here we have a head chest but in our arms and our legs the next step is to construct the baby inside its outfit and for that we will first lay out our baby blanket you can do a square and put the baby diagonal or you can fold it into a rectangle and lay the baby straight I'm going to go with the square and rectangle and this outfit actually has snaps down the front so I can unsnap and put everything in if you have a gown or something that doesn't snap sometimes you can just slide things in through the neck or through the bottom legs but the chest and the arms and what we'll do is we'll turn this baby over kind of fold in the neck position the arms and kind of a natural position tuck under some of your excess lift the butt and slide the leg diaper under the butt so the butt is up in the air and play around with the outfit till it looks somewhat natural and then for the head what you'll do is find the part that has the most white tuck in a pacifier between some folds of diapers and then you'll cover the space with your hat kind of going over the brow to cover the eyes and around the back of the head and then you'll just place the head where it looks the most natural all the arms are between the arms this is something that you can pretty much make at home and it's just a symbol when you get to your baby shower if it's not at your home it can be better secured with more rubber bands if you'd like but it's not too hard to reposition things if you have to move it around it's very simple to make a lot of fun you can get in expensive outfits or you can get a really nice play yet with the matching with everything matching you can add your your scratch mittens or you can fold over your if you have the mittens built into your gown you can fold it over you can get booties or socks to fold to put over the diaper on the bottom if that's something you have you can get really creative with that you shouldn't put a little baby stuffed animal here in the front just really anything but this looks like a sleeping baby it's great for baby showers it's a lot of fun to make a lot of fun for people to look at because at first they think it really is a baby laying there and I hope you enjoyed the video if you like these type of videos and want to see more subscribe to my page and let me know what you'd like to see thank you for watching
