hey guys i'm here with meg hey Meg okay from the wats up mom's channel and in Meg's kitchen and today we're going to be showing you how to make six DIY candy favorite treats that you guys can make it home if you haven't seen what's up moms the amazing mode and a bunch of other amazing mums do some really really great baking really cool cooking and some incredibly funny parodies the channel hilarious you guys have to go and check it out what are we gonna make today Meg to hostess cupcakes some Kit Kats and some crunch bars and for the otha recipes would be able to check them out on the What's Up moms channel so make sure you hang around so you can check out all six alright so i think we'll start with the hostess cupcakes which we do not have an Australia so I'm really excited ok so let's go through what we'll need you'll need flour sugar unsweetened cocoa powder baking soda baking powder and salt semi-sweet chocolate hot coffee eggs vegetable oil buttermilk and vanilla alright so the first step is to take our hot coffee and combine it with our chocolate chips this is the genius way to melt chocolate alright and then I'm just going to give it a quick stir and set it aside so we're gonna move on to our mixer and Elise I'm going to have you do this we're going to add our eggs and beat them for about three minutes until they're kind of yellowing custardy delicious alright i look in custody okay perfect so let's put a splash of vanilla splash of vanilla and i'm going to add our butter milk over here none you can grab the vegetable oil that's it and then we'll make some on I want to put it on through hi don't wanna call the splash in my kitchen okay you know kitchen and go the chocolate yeah and then I've already sifted our dry ingredients we'll just add a little bit at a time perfect alright so let's take it down will scrape down the sides mix it a little bit more and then I'll be ready for our cupcake tin alright so you can put it in here i have my Tim which I've already lined with cupcake liners and elise's doing a perfect job she's not over filling them we want them to be pretty flat for the signature sweet love that signature squiggle these are going to go in a 325-degree oven for about 15 minutes so while the cupcakes are in the oven we're going to make that delicious creamy filling that goes in the hostess cupcakes you'll need egg whites sugar corn syrup water vanilla and a pinch of salt so over a double boiler you're going to want to add all of your ingredients except for your vanilla and beat after a little while add a new vanilla and you want to be for a total of seven minutes while it's over the sheet take the frosting off the heat and continue to be for about two minutes until it's a bit cooler all right so our cupcakes are out of the oven or seven minute frosting is cool we have some ganache over here and you can find the recipe for that and elise's channel will put the link here so the first we're going to do is cut out a little bit of a cone right in the cupcake my wise oh my god that's so moist now I've typed my frosting right into a bag set off the tip of it and I'm just gonna put it right in here oh my god it's pretty good right it looks amazing smells amazing and I'm gonna put the top on and dip it in the ganache all right I'm gonna dip it yeah I trust her and you want to just get it kind of right around the edges so the liner is just nicely wrapped of course she's doing it perfectly I wouldn't say perfectly better than I would do all right and then all we have to do is add the squiggle I feel a lot of pressure on you got steady hand I'm impressed I'm checking a squiggle precision and there we go I'm so excited by these are so cute and I just love how you can put something that's in your kids lunchboxes it's a treat but it's free of preservatives we made it up so all right let's move on to the next one let's do it all right the fryer little homemade cake get these are really simple there are two ingredients and like two ingredients I like two ingredients we're gonna take some vanilla wafers and feel free to mix it up here we'd like strawberry or chocolate wafers amazing and some melted chocolate you just want to throw your wafer straight into your bowl of melted chocolate and then let me use a fork to they press down on it as I press down I'm going to like flip it this is kind of how you get the neatest with and then I'm going to lift it up and just Duncan Duncan junk a couple of times which is going to pull any of that excess chocolate off the bottom of the wafer and then we can just put it onto a little bit of wax paper when you put it down you want to slide down the side further is from you first gently push it off with a knife there's your home may keep cats how long drive to achieve them it's they'll set in about three to five minutes you can check them in the fridge pic you can't wait to keep them so that's it we've made our kit kat bars Cheers let's move on to our crunch alright moving on now to the crunch bar do you like crunch and love them two ingredients once again rice krispies and chocolate you want to crush some rice krispies I can do that I've got like two cups of rice krispies but it depends on how crunchy you want your crunch and I'm also going to be using a mold today because that's going to give us the perfect homemade chocolate bar I just got my nanny bed you can pick them up Michaels pretty much anywhere so you're kind of looking for like a bit of a medium crunch you don't want to powder it but you don't want to be big chunks of rice krispies we could pop those into the bowl and then we're going to pour some chocolate over the top I'm really just eyeballing it you want to mix it all right and then we just scoop it into a little mold all right kind of spread it out there and spread it out and be careful if I overfill them because you wanted to be like a nice neat chocolate bar cool so to make sure that you've got everything like into all of your little ridges you just want to give it a couple of really hard smacks on the bench and off into the fridge to set all right so when they come out of the fridge bugging you do is pop them out of the mold you've got a perfectly formed they are and on the back just like a crunch bar they taste exactly the same so make sure to head over to what's at moms to see our remaining candy bar recipes we're gonna be showing you how to make Reese's peanut butter cups Twix bars and almond joy bars which if you're in Australia kind of like a bounty and they're amazing so bad thank you guys so much for watching thank you very much for having me definitely check out Meg of what's up moms and everything else they've got it's fabulous Phoenix
