Please explain how to avoid buzzing when replacing on a harp string - slow motion monday ep. 32

hello everyone welcome to this edition of slow-motion Monday this was inspired from a lesson last week it's talking about being able to replace our ringing string and not buzz so in a moment here I'm going to pause one of the tricks is getting that finger in position as close as possible to the string without actually touching it yet so that there you are you're ready to kind of drop down firmly and quickly boom but you're not you know you're doing a lot of movement to get in position and at the last minute you place down and so eventually you can get to the point where you can place and play and have the playing cover the sound of or most of the sound of that replacement because of course we are stopping that ringing string there will be some sound created so you can see get ready and then at the last minute drop down and play some thinking about approaching from behind the string so left hand so thinking about almost the back of the knuckle almost touching there you can see I'm actually touching the F obviously it becomes much more difficult if that F is ringing as well but by approaching from the bottom from behind the string the back of a string I get that flesh of the finger in position and ready at the last minute to place and hopefully not buzz I hope that was interesting see you next week bro harped it's damp so it Cheers you
