Please explain how to make a law-enforcement memorial ribbon (clackamas county sheriff's office)

hi I'm Joyce Maggie forensic artist here at the clackamas county sheriff's office a couple of days ago we started making these ribbons in honor of Robert lipke the officer from Oregon City Police Department historically law enforcement has worn a black band across their badge in respect for the Fallen these ribbons are for support staff and members of the community because we've had so many requests for these we'd like to show you how to make them yourself supplies that you'll need to do this is black ribbon that's three eighths inch wide pinbacks stars that you'll find in the sequined department tacky glue and hot glue so start by taking your three eighths inch ribbon and cutting it three and a half inches long then you want to twist your ribbon so you're taking the ribbon and you're twisting it and then down so it looks like a shirt collar after that you want to secure it with the hot glue then use your tacky glue to secure the pin back again use your tacky glue to secure the star on I want to thank you from our law enforcement family for your interest your overwhelming support and really working together we can make a difference
