[Applause] hey guys this is Nick from f-150 LEDs calm today I'm gonna be showing you a really cool solution to the backlighting on your f-150 trucks you ever put it in Reverse have trouble seeing on your camera or in the rearview mirrors because it's too dark well we've got a solution for you this is a LED bar reverse kit it's a 4-inch cree technology led die cast aluminum LED bar so it's going to stand up to any environment and put out a lot of light it's really easy install and i'm going to show you how to do it okay so we've already got our passenger side reverse bar installed so we're gonna go ahead and focus on the driver side the first thing that we got installed is our light mount okay you see it's gotta be see see channels that's so you can adjust the direction that your light goes in if you want you know all the way down or if you want to shoot them back it's a nice little feature of these kits so what we're gonna use they are these frame two bumper bolts here on the back of the truck it's a size ten wrench so we'll take this boat out set our light mount over its hole and reinstall the bolt and that will hold our light in place okay so we got our bolt out and just insert it through our light mount here and reinstall the bolt mount is firm and installed back onto the truck so let's focus down here you've got here Cree a four inch LED bar power and ground wire what we're gonna do is extend those really fast really easy we're just going to use these quick splice connectors very fast very effective you just clamp them down these are included with the kit it's like whatever that's how you extend the water and also know that you want the red to the red and the black to the black here that's your corresponding ground and power wires look spiced but this easy when you're done if you have some electrical tape you may want to wrap these connections you'll be okay if you don't so we recommend do it okay so let's take our for now now the lens is not green that's just the protective wrap on light bar all right so the next step will be to install it in our truck base and you do that inserting your light it gets the mount that you dog and there's two bolts on each side so that will hold the light in place there's two washers a lock and a flat and then the bolt and you put all four of those in and now is the time that you can adjust an angle of your light we suggest slightly angled down towards the ground but you know for whatever your application is so let's go ahead and put the four bolts in our reverse cream bar is installed solid it's that angle that we wanted all we got to do is connect our black ground and our red power on our red power cable to the trucks harness and where we're going to do that is here at the trailer hitch components we're going to use the ground wire from this four pin harness which you can actually read on the back of these covers tells you which water to use so on this truck it says the ground is the top wire which is the white wire here so on the back side of the truck we're going to connect using our quick splice connector real easy the black to the white water of this harness and again if you look at this pin connector here it says that the center is your reverse lights so you look on the back and there's a bundle of wires the center is the reverse power so connect your red to that water and use the zip ties to clean up any extra wires that you have you're done whenever you put your truck into reverse you're gonna let's just say you're gonna notice the difference the light is gonna be powerful you're not gonna have any problems seeing where you're backing up so we got our light and stop just wired up let's take off her protective strip here okay that's how easy it is to install the f150 LEDs com reverse Cree lights please check out our website f-150 LEDs calm for all our products and all our video tutorials share these videos with your friends tell your fellow f150 owners about us we truly do appreciate your support [Applause]
