i'm going to be making some bowel litter so i figured i'd uh just stop and shoot a quick movie here and show you how to make some steamer inserts pretty quickly now i use pre-cut sheets that are what 12 by 16 above so what you're going to want to do is fold one of these in half now this of course depends on the size of your steamer and if you notice yeah i've got a 10 inch steamer so this leaves enough room on each side so what i'm going to do first is just cut this in half to make two sheets at once after that fold this in quarters and fold it again okay so i'll start again just to show you quick after you cut it in half fold it once fold it twice and after you have it folded twice fold it at an angle all right make sure it's folded flat fold it again at this point it should be getting pretty tough to bend fold it back the other way so that you can see where the top is and what you're going to do is just eyeball this cut the long part off and then after you've done that eyeball it again and just kind of trim the last bits out obviously don't like cook that so let's take a look when they're unfolded there you go and it'll spin in the bottom just nice and what that does is it leaves enough room for the steams to circulate around your food so everything steams properly
