now folks welcome in this video we got to report this beautiful lilac we're going to be pot and prune this beautiful lilac Adrianna is going to walk us through it and show us how it's done this is Marc aclu's of Mackay bonsai thank you for stopping by and let's watch this while she's taking lab the pot I'm gonna work on the roots she first prices dilutes using a chopstick and then uses the shaft pair of scissors to to cut away the roots that have been exposed she uses a toothbrush to essentially rub away some of the moss and algae that may be growing on top of the trunk keep the club dry as that helps for the back to form and any idea Moss is just a hindrance to the formation of good back well she has finished road pronating unless the part that she's going to be putting it into it's a beautiful round turquoise blue pot and since you've measured it exactly fitted quite well into the pot and because there's going to be little the soil under is going to raise it just to make sure that she's got things at right angle there may be some tapering of the edges so that she can work with the pot now after placing it in the root ball in the pot and making sure that the angle and Trancas and position that she wants she is stacking up soil around the roof all she will use a mallet to tap the soil into place by dumping the mallet fast on the pot the soil circles into the pot and disappears into areas that don't have any sorry in it as you can see the soil is gently disappearing a quick top up and she ensure that the trunk is not moving and then ties up the wires and in the pot secure the root ball in the pot making sure that the root ball is secured in the pot ensures the tree settles quickly a quick tail and cut and she will carry on with wiring up the other two wires in a round part usually we have three sets of wires to give tie look up one of my other videos on how to tie wise for parts because it's I think an essential part of proper bonsai reporting well it's time to Massa what a she's using magnimous Golding New Zealand's like the moss she puts a thin layer all around the pot thumbs down with the hand selects the most grips into all the crevices of the surface soil uses a really tamper to tamp the soil in and now she's adding some green moss to the frag numbers the green must dispose of the universe will start going fast without on to pruning it and she pulls it off by cutting away all the extension just leaving two of the current ears sets of toads so in effect you have four buds cuts away all the flowers and that's really all there is to plumbing the lilac and there you can see it's rather beautiful and spectacular tree it's very delicate long trunks make it into a multi stem literati bonsai and it has delicately pink flowers well I do hope you enjoyed watching the video if you did give us a thumbs up and if you have an ultra suspect please do and we hope to see you again soon thank you for watching right now
