have you replaced your radio and your Volkswagen and now your battery dies if so I'm here to help you with that problem we're going to easily fix this and here's how we're going to do it a few things you're going to need is a 12-volt single-pole double-throw relay these you can find it like autozone stuff some wire first you locate your monsoon amp and this isn't a beetle so it's kind of in the back once you find it you'll want to use like a multimeter to find out which wire has the constant 12 volts on it there was three on this particular one but I traced it back until they merged into one single wire and then you're going to want to cut that wire and what you're going to do is in between here you're going to put a relay and that relay is going to be able to turn the constant power on and off and that way it's going to kick your factory amp off and shut it down whenever you turn the car off and that way it won't drain the battery down so to do this at the end of the video you'll see a diagram you'll probably want to pause it here there's like a little harnessing system on this relay and basically the way the wires work is this red one that one's going to go to like the blue with white on the back of your aftermarket radio this yellow one which is a pole number 30 off of the relay that goes to the power to the amp and then the brown one that's actually number 87 on the relay and that's going to go to the end that you cut that goes to the battery and then the black one you just ground you can grab it like you seen there on the amp and then you're good to go once you run your your remote wire back it will click on and off and cut the power on and off and here's the diagram for the relay you
