hey guys welcome back so today's video is going to be me showing you guys how to apply gel polish I'm gonna be using the C and E shellac but for most any other gel polishes out there it should be the same method unless otherwise stated typically you are gonna want to prep your natural nails I did not do it for this video only because I'm just using one of those plastic things but for your natural nail he will want to take that step and I'll link all how to do that in the description box below so here I'm gonna be taking that base coat and I'm gonna be applying a thin layer I'm cuticle area up to the free edge we do this because we want to make sure that the we're getting a smooth base and it's going to prevent any staining on the natural table and make sure that you cap the free edge to prevent any lifting or to be over the next week or so as long as you plan keep this color on and we're gonna pop this in the lamp for 30 seconds we only need a cap flash here this comes left no words there and now I'm going in with the first layer of color this is in the shade hot puppy it is a beautiful summer shade I can't wait to wear it this summer and as you can see here in the video I'm using the belly of that brush to apply the color but I'm also removing any excess color because you do not want it to be too thick otherwise it's not gonna cure properly so each step do you are gonna want to cap the free edge and for the color you're gonna cure this in the lamp for two minutes and that is for the first coat as you can see it is super opaque absolutely beautiful see Andy does recommend that you at least look to earn valleys but that you put two coats on there and you're gonna see just a second here how beautiful even more creamy now with this system you are gonna want to use the shellac the seamy shellac system I don't really recommend it makes an interchange just because I don't feel like it gives you the muscles if you did like a different top odors my base coat because it is a system so you're gonna want to use it that way they just smooth out or take off any excess color and smooth out that color as best as you can before putting it in the UV lamp and again with this second coat you're in one here and for two minutes and that's what it looks like now me taking the shellac you see top coat and this is one of the best UV talk codes I've ever used it leaves the nail super shiny it is a little bit thicker than other top clips that I use so just be aware of that you choose to go with this brand now here I'm taking 91% isopropyl alcohol with a zon plant ad and I'm just gonna spritz the nail and I'm also gonna spread C pad just to make sure you take off that sticky and efficiently Oh you can see on that way there is absolutely no color on there so it just kind of goes to show that it is dry instantly which is great for those on the go and don't want to wait for nail-polish dry you can see like it takes forever so yeah I really hope that you guys enjoy this video and give it a thumbs up you did and don't forget to subscribe it thanks guys and I'll see you in my next video you
