what's up everybody today I'm going to show you how to make some pickups for carp fishing all right the first one I'll show you is the kicks which is the easiest one sure 90% of our fishermen know it is but some of y'all don't so it's really just like a good handful you don't make a little bunch less you know they're going to eat that flavor just a good handful I use a bottle with some people did just use one good handful and about a cat full of flavor different flavorings will soak up different in the pickup so some of you might have to add more something like that see those things sucking up that word so I might add a little bit more cuz you can add you can have too much and then they'll be too spongy and won't stay on the hook you can always add more you can't take any out so keep that in mind I said it changes the color and I'll show you what it does on the water once they soaked up give them about 20 minutes to soak up and then you can use them I'll show you what these are gonna do in my water cakes are probably the best bet for any kind of flavor pickup so once the flavor gets on the soaks up good and they stay on the hook a lot longer than anything else all right means I'm going to use a corn puff they're made by Arrowhead needles just puffed corn if you look them up online or whatever I don't have the bag I'll have these the ones I got from the lake well they're made by Arrowhead Mills just puffed corn these are if you put cumin flavor in these they will give they'll get real small and you want to be able to put them on the hook so I'm going to show you how this flavor might like different but most of time with these if you put them in the microwave they will stay there normal size throughout the night so I'm just going to do the same thing with them just using get you the capital when you do it because you don't add too much just put them on a plate just write them out a little bit clip in the microwave for like I don't know 10 don't know how big your microwave every what setting you'll have it on it's put them on about 20 seconds those were there about 20 seconds we should like I said most flavorings especially your little stuff like your lower animals when you put those on there and put them in the microwave Elstad else keep their shape all night they won't get real small I like to say if you put too much flavoring on these like even see some of them we're trying to do it already they get too small and that's way too small to put a little meat it'll work but it will get smaller than that but usually put them in 30 min microwave will keep them the rather size so they're not going to get too small like I said another video I'll show you these in a second they set up they're almost ready already I'll show you those in the water like I said those are there they'll should go should keep their keep their size I say some flavoring you know like fishermen's fantasy or any are W or anything some flavoring is thicker than the other so it might soak up more and make it smaller but usually I just did one good handful of any puck or kick and I did one capful of flavoring because obviously you don't want to make the whole bunch and then not work so you're just placing flavoring and Western kids but I'll show you how they act in the water intersect like I'm going to show you the the kicks in reward these are kicks those are the folks I'll show you those two there's gonna be the same effect so I might not even show them to you actually a bit now you got remember on the kicks knees the kicks you have to get enough flavoring in them to make them fluffy because it's not they're gonna stay hard and I'll show you see let's use the record cake you can't put that on the hook because it see this is turning the dust now these it's already spongy so you got to stay on the hook just put it on your hook like that like a normal hope they pick up their unit product and I don't know if this flavour will show up in water good but I know like your grapes and stuff like that show up in the water good when they but just put them in the water you can't really see [ __ ] seed on camera but in the water there's a little red tint from where the flavor is coming off of the pick up see these right here the the puff is already hard see has only had and lost its shape I know some of y'all like a floating pickup series leaving floating that much I'll show you the difference between the kick and the puff which one floats more alright now we'll show you the difference between the the puff and the cake on the buoyancy or how the deck float see the cake wants a cake one suppose we can see the kid is pretty much on the bottom it's off the bottom and tad bit with the puff it's a expose enough vivid so you figure you pass all the way from the bottom of the lake that puss is up over your bait when your other hook is a in the bait so
