Please explain how to dehydrate beef jerky with jerky gun

hey guys how about a lot of questions how I dehydrate my food so I figured to make a quick video on how to make beef jerky and use extra lean ground beef and I just bought this Excalibur jerky gun from home are dry and I'm going to give that a try as well let's see what we come up with bowl here I have all the spices are your names for one pound of turkey I'll go over the spice ladies with you one pound of ground beef I mean in a tsp ground ginger teaspoon of black pepper a teaspoon of curry powder a teaspoon of smoldering smoked Applewood and a teaspoon of cabela's lemon pepper also use a half teaspoon of ground onion powder and a half a teaspoon of garlic powder for if you don't have curing salt which I don't I'm going to use a half a teaspoon of table salt as well but from our wet ingredients I'm going to use a tablespoon of gluten-free soy sauce a tablespoon of war Chester sauce or however you pronounce that stuff and a tablespoon of Frank's redhot buffalo wing sauce probably will use that in one pound I get to do two pounds I'm going to leave that out of the second just to see the difference in the two all right so I have one pound of extra mean extra lean ground beef you want the extra lean because you don't want the fat 10 it'll go by that won't dehydrators low and i will add all my seasonings already wash my hands and I'll just get in there mix it all in on it mixed in as evenly as possible you call my dry ingredients first and then I will go back and add my soy sauce my Frank's Buffalo and the worchester sauce never tried making jerky before with a ground beef I heard it a much better and easier when doing it with the other beef you got to get a good cut and trim all the fat and make sure that you slice it thin enough and the ground beef here it's a lot more tender when it's done and with the jerky gun it squirts it out nice and thin for you and seems to be a much easier method ok so I got that all mixed in there now so I'm going to add tablespoon worchester sauce a tablespoon of the gluten-free soy sauce and a tablespoon of the Frank's redhot buffalo sauce mix that in as well alright so I got that all mixed in it actually smells really good i'll update it get out my jerky gun and read the instructions just see how to use it seems pretty easy does it has a one pound capacity so I should be able to fit all this mixture into there and get it all out in one go alright so let's open up the dray kee gun it's Excalibur Drake again I got it from another whole paragraph you're countin the instructions and clean off you have a tube one a flat one and a flat one with a cut in the middle so yeah you get the flat nozzle one and three seat three sixteenth of an inch you get the double flat nozzle one and 360 and one and a half inch round nozzle there's the gun there alright so I'm just going to take the gun and wash it before I use it and then I'll load it up the ground beef and we'll load up the dehydrator alright so I got the gun all cleaned up now i just gotta load it i forgot to mention i bought this from the Home Hardware was 2199 I believe that the Canadian I'll just start loading this up just tick by the spoonful put it in the gun set on the box it has a one pound capacity I may not have a full pound here it doesn't look like i do i will load it up and we'll see click it's pretty accurate I'm almost full here so that's how it'd be almost almost pound now i take the inch and three sixteenth nozzle and a cap on there I'll get the dehydrator set up and start loading lot ok so the dehydrator I have is the nesco american harvest garden master food dehydrator and jerky maker I've used us a few times for dehydrating spaghetti chili veggies fruit and it's worked really well for me so far alright so I got my first train ready and I got the jerky gun loaded so let's give this a try just squeeze the trigger it keep acting the ground walnuts trying to come out the end there click a good-sized strip come on seems like I got air bubbles in there I'm going to take the top off and try packing it in there a bit better before I start all right here we go going to give it another go if tricky got sick so this was seven pieces of jerky portrayed the gun was definitely taking getting used to let's finish fill in these trays and then start the dehydrator and I'll show you further along the way how it turns out all right so i ended up getting 17 strips it is the 1 pound of does leaning extra lean ground beef I'm just going to fire up the dehydrator and they say about six to seven hours you want to at least get it too they say 155 but I'm going to put it to 160 degrees Fahrenheit so there's my temperature of up to 160 the timer going to put that on eldest remember how much time i go you need to sit there and i'll start working on my second pound of beef now for the second pound of beef i'm just going to use the theme dry spices and this time i'm going to go with just a tablespoon of the worchester sauce and a tablespoon of the gluten-free soy sauce these regular soy sauce just I eat gluten free so that's what I have found the last mixer with a bit wet so I'm hoping without the Franks this might turn out as if that it also i want to try the different flavors so i'll mix this up put it in the gun get in the dehydrator and then i will show you what it's all done how it all came out okay so it means a vibrator for two hours and 15 minutes it looked at how it is already sent me to look would be good Oh talk a little bit and this is the header is known for four hours and fifteen years I just took a look at it and it looked like a pretty well done Lisa VI leavin will you sit there in an hour just to be sleek all right so i did find that the last liquid ended up working out a little bit better as far as loading the gun loaded with the spoon didn't work out as well because even put in an air pocket but i read in the instructions to pull the loop in it to roll it into a tube and then put it in and i tried that with the second batch evolved left liquid and it seemed to come out of the gun much better a twisting through all five hours you in a uniform you separate it out onto paper towels let it dry if you bag it right away look so hot it will collect moisture in the bag and then I could cause it to rot okay so this is what I ended up with two bags full that's one without the Franks you want with the Kranks sorely prism i have is I'd probably use a little less pepper because I'm not a big fan of pepper but I would definitely do it again it's very tender and
