hey guys welcome back to total noms TV we here in the great garden state of New Jersey are proud to be hosting the Super Bowl this weekend and to celebrate I'm making one of my favorite game time dips fresh pico de gallo actually pretty healthy considering the amount of indulging that you can do during the game Picaro is super easy to put together at home it's fresh fast and really easy to make so let's get started so we're going to start out by dicing our tomatoes and all I'm gonna do is chop one in half and what we're gonna do is actually cut the core out of the tomato and scoop out those seeds the reason that we're doing this is we want to eliminate as much excess moisture for our Pico as possible so just discard the seeds and then chop your tomato into strips and then dice alright so I've got half of a red onion here and I'm actually only gonna get as a quarter because I'm not making too much Pico here but you can easily double or triple this recipe so we're just going to give our red onion a nice quick dice my house like that one clove of minced garlic to my Pico for a little kick we're going to add half of a jalapeno pepper and what I'm gonna do is just cut out the inside of my jalapeno pepper removing the seeds that's what makes it extra spicy I want a little kick but not too too much so we're just going to dice that up and in my opinion the best part about pico de gallo is all of the fresh cilantro I love the flavor of cilantro I know it's a love it or hate it type flavor but I am definitely on the lovitz side all righty so we have our bowl with the tomato onion garlic and jalapeno in it and I'm just gonna add that fresh cilantro into the mix and we're gonna sprinkle half of limes worth of juice over top all right so we're just going to mix this all up it smells so good with all the lime juice all right so let's go in for a dip of one of our chips so so fresh so delicious you have got to make this for your Super Bowl party really hope you enjoyed this recipe you can find the full recipe below in the description box don't forget to Like subscribe and leave a comment thanks so much for watching see you next week
