Welcome to the Hobby Lobby Creative Studio! I’m Tara, and today I’m going to show
you how to make this adorable sock horse. So let’s giddyup and get to crafting! You’ll need two Rockford Red Heel socks
for this project. First, hand sew the heel of one sock closed
to completely conceal the red. Pin the templates to the socks, and cut out
all the pieces. We’ll start with the ears and legs. Place right sides together, and pin. Now sew them, leaving an opening on each piece
for stuffing. Now let’s work on the body. First, turn it inside out. Then pin the legs. Sew up one leg and stop, leaving an opening. And then sew down the other leg. Turn the body right side out, stuff it, and
stitch it closed. Pin the legs and ears to the body, and hand
sew them to attach. Now bend the head like this, pin it here,
and sew it into place. Use a yarn needle to pull yarn through the
sock for the mane and the tail. Be sure to knot each strand to secure. To create the nostrils, just pinch the fabric
together like this and stitch. Finish with button eyes and a yarn mouth. And there you have it. Thanks for watching. We'll see you next time here at the Hobby
Lobby Creative Studio!
