Please explain how to cut leather

hey it's Josh Ambo en with Shambo leather and just once again I just wanna make a video she kind of show you something I'm working on here I've always say in need everything you cut and cut only what you need when it comes to cutting out patterns and so forth now this big piece of leather here this oil it's not that big but this long strip of really weird shaped leather it's I've made purses out of a duffel bags shoes all kind of stuff actually made my tablet cover from this piece but it was a whole hide and this is all I have left other than a few little scraps but I got an order in the day to make a passport cover and as you can see I've gone out my pattern there but this piece that I'm showing you here is almost not enough but as you can see I'm using i'm using this to make this passport cover and out of this piece this is I kind of goofed up when I was making some spur straps and I cut to right foot pieces so go ahead cut another piece out of my lining but i was able because i had saved and cut only what i needed to manage to get from this two parts that i'm going to need for the past the pocket for the passport and the credit card holder and those will it line the edges of those two pockets so just one more good example of why it's always smart to cut your leather wisely if i had to go buy all this leather just to make this one passport that would cut into profit big time that actually probably go in the hole but now that i have some what are basically considered scraps that i can make it out of you know that's just money in the bank so if you're doing this trying to make a living at it and if you're doing it just having fun and unless you have a lot of money it's probably a good idea to to make sure that you do the best you can to conserve it whatever you have save you a lot of money and give you a lot more to play with until next time I'm Josh Shambo with Shambo leather appreciate you watching
