hello everyone swathi here and I welcome you all to my youtube channel backyard gardening in this video we are gonna talk about Jade plant how to propagate it how to look after them and what kind of care they require it's also called as lucky plant money tree friendship tree and crassula ovata you can grow a new plant from its cutting very easily this is one of the easiest houseplant to look after and it's considered as sign of good luck and prosperity so it's a perfect plan to give to your loved ones the plant loves well-drained soil less water and bright in direct sunlight you can grow them in full sunlight as well so I have collected these stem cuttings to grow them in two different size and shape spots and Buddha pods have the drainage holes in it make sure to keep Evers at the bottom on the drainage holes friends I usually grow all my plants in soil and coco peat mixture in two is to 1 ratio sometimes I add little amount of composed to it beat cow dung manure or verb being composed the best thing about this plant is it can be grown in small pots also like this a square-shape pot as well as in bonsai pots which are not so deep something like this blackboard now I will grow this cutting into the side in the pot so that when it grows well I will make fairy garden in the spot and friends never throw any small cuttings of this plant as you can see in the right side corner video I have grown Lots many plants from very small cuttings only always check the soil before watering it make sure not to overwater the plant to avoid root rot and now I'll show you these plants that I grew in same bone site iPods through stem cuttings and they are really take dancin healthy and I made small fairy gardens in it and I hope this plant in blackboard will also grow like these plants in another 40 to 50 days so that's it for today friends see you with a new video bye-bye
