okay we got the Vinc cover on I'm going to take a video and show you how to go around it alright a good thing to do is um put yourself out of template let's help out a lot and all that is is to go around this round edge on the inner side of the vent but you don't want it to go too close I'm going to stick out like a quarter of an inch you don't want it to go too far because it's up there and it gets too close water can get under there and that's how you'll see a lot of water damage on roofs how it the water goes way out here and then goes up and down with each or needs maybe half an inch away don't ever mail this in right here um it will be held in by the other shingles around it you want to nail right on the outside of this felled metal piece and to good with measurements you want to with visualizing your measurements you want to take an accurate measurement and that's perfect I know it's awful lot like I said I'd rather use too much too little just like that and then your next piece take a piece like this and cut around right here with your template that pieces slides right over like I said keep it a half inch away from here so water don't get down in there and and rush that or doesn't bang up against there that's
