next video we're going to look at a pin for levator scapulae and for the trapezius you can see by the Stars indicated mrs. vasuki Wrangler scapula so patient might present in the pain in this area and also in virtual upper trapezius muscle so I prepared two I strips but I've cut in two wires and the first tape is going to be placed inferior onto virtual medial border of the scapula and is going to go towards the origin of a levator scapulae from c1 to c4 we need to apply that muscle on stretch or we can ask a patient to rotate and bring the chin down to the chest so that's going to be length and invalidate the scapula muscle so on under surface of a tape break back the legs and then the first part almost need to decide on the length of the tape so that's going to go like so and there's going to be little to no stretch on the first application of the tape so this is going to literally feed around the ladies with a hairline if there's a lot of hair and the tables that seem to stick very well so you just have to come up towards it rather not you on it the second one it's going to go slightly medial if you're looking at the midline of a body this way the anterior part of a neck like so so that's the first application and the second one so break the tape and then we can apply the tape into the supraclavicular fossa like so there and then what we can ask the patient to do is just we track the shoulder a little bit I'll do and then we've got these two areas legs so we can lock down the tape and we can literally apply 100 to 75 across almost like feeding towards the trapezius the middle part into the lower part and the same as when 70 hundred-percent back off come down it's almost following the lower trapezius when using the back of the tape like shown we can actually heat activate the glue to make this tape stick a bit better and we can leave it on like it explained for three to five days then we have tape in for levator scapula and upper trapezius
