Please explain how to crochet a vintage baby bib part 16.wmv

all right we've sewn the strap on okay and we've got a black button and we've got our our our string our needle and thread so we're basically just going to sew the button on the front side of your other shoulder right at that corner so that we can strap it in like that okay so we want to do it on the front side pick up your needle and thread it through and just take your button yeah and just sew your button on now this one you need a needle and thread with unless you've got a certain kind of sewing machine and a certain kind of button and sometimes then you can use your machine but with this specific particular button that i'm using i have to do it needle and thread and just like with the strap just sew it on sew it in a few times just so it gets nice and secure we don't want it falling off okay last time all right and then just like before make a knot at the back of it like that maybe make two of them just so it's a little more secure right now i'm doing three mainly because i'm trying to get really close sometimes that can be difficult all right and you just take your scissors and cut the yarn of the thread okay all right and now we're gonna we're gonna do another part we're gonna take our um yarn needle okay and we're gonna weave in some of these ends so i see some of these like loose ends we're gonna weave them in so they don't hang there ugly like and but then also so they don't unravel the rest of your your projects we don't want that all right so just you know we're gonna hook it on our needle and you're just going to take it and sort of weave it in sort of like i tried to kind of shove it in between each double crochet like in the center of it so it doesn't show on either side it goes like right in between the um double crochet stitch each double crochet sorry double crochets i just cannot say double crochet stitch yeah right in between each double crochet each double crochet stitch sorry i don't know why i'm having so much trouble right now but you get my point maybe i'm just tired all right so i'm just trying to get that in to go through as far as you can we'll say we'll push it through one more sometimes it can be hard because they're tight okay and you pull it okay and you pull it too tight generally because we're gonna snip it it and then whenever you undo it it just disappears right in to yeah your thing okay and we're gonna do that to all the other stray pieces that are just hanging here um yeah we're just gonna weave them in so once you're done weaving them in we'll do the very last part to finish off this um this project oh before before we shut down i'll show you how the how it looks buttoned so you can just take it and you can kind of shove it right in between that double crochet stitch it can be a little tight depending on your size button but once it's on it's secure and it'll loosen up a little bit as each time you put it on okay and you just take it off like that see and you see you've already got a buttonhole just by itself all right so yeah i'm gonna just weave in those ends and then i'll show you how to put the finishing touches on this baby bib so now that we've weaved in in all our ends we're going to put the venison touches on i'm going to be using this the black yarn we've been using but the pattern actually calls for lace but it looks just as nice with the yarn and it's cheaper and we already have it on hand all right so we're gonna start at the bottom you see the holes now see see these holes right here now there's technically one right here too and that's where we're gonna start we're gonna push the needle through here technically you could start from the top too but um i'm just going to start from the bottom you want it kind of evenly distributed and you're going to come up through this hole right here so on the back it you've got this piece of yarn okay okay now we're going to take your yarn and we're going to weave up just put it into the next hole go up and we're just going to weave it up and down almost done leave it up and down be a great gift for a baby shower or for a one-year-old birthday or sooner technically because i think they start eating before one they start i don't know as soon as they start getting on the solid foods i don't know i don't have a kid yet though i want some one day
