Please explain how to create a powerpoint jeopardy game

hello youtubers you have come along my tutorial on how to make a powerpoint jeopardy game now it takes a little more time than using an online template but it's fun because you can mess around with it a little more so i'm just gonna open up powerpoint now and the first thing that i'm going to do is actually going to change the design of the background i think you can have it whatever you want but i personally like to go to background styles and choose something just like that i styled them apparently i think it's a very nice jeopardy like thing so i'm just going to call this jeopardy and i'm going to make the subtitle sports edition and i'm just now i'm going to add a new slide that's my title slide and now this is going to be the slide that has your table of all the questions so we're going to insert a table it is going to be five by six and you just wanna stretch that out the whole length of the powerpoint area so now okay so i'll call this basketball foot ball baseball soccer hockey so now i'm going to insert my money it's going to what i'm going to do is i'm going to put 100 and then 200 300 400 and 500 what i'm just going to do is i'm going to copy that and go paste paste paste paste i'm going to do the same thing copy paste paste paste paste copy paste paste paste paste copy paste paste paste paste and finally copy paste paste paste paste so now what i'm going to do is i'm going to put in a new slide and the way i like to have it is i like the layout to be a title slide but you can really do whatever you want and i'm going to put 10 of these in and that's going to be for basketball what it would be is one five for each of the questions and five for each of the answers so i'm gonna paste that nine more times one two three four maybe not okay never mind whoops i'm gonna copy and paste it nine more times i should have 12 slides now so i'm going to just make the first question who won the last nba champion ship now you can do this two ways you can just do question and answer or you can say this team won the last nba championship and i have the answer be what is the dallas mavericks or something but i like to have it just question answer i find it a little easier so we're gonna need to insert some hyperlinks to save you guys a lot of clicking first thing that we're going to do is a hyperlink to the question itself which is slide three so we're going to highlight 100 right click hyperlink place in this document and slide three now we have to have a way to get back to the board so what you're going to do is go on to the internet and what i like to do is get a picture of alex trebek because i think that is a nice hyperlink so let's see where's the one i want i like this one so i'm just going to copy image text that out and paste it right into my powerpoint i'm going to drag that down there and i'm going to right click on the image hyperlink and go back to the board so now you can see if you go in the game if you click on the 100 it's going to bring you to this question and then the answer is the dallas mavericks and when you click on this it's going to bring you back to the board now notice this is a different color because we already used it and that's a reminder now you can change that if you don't like by using colors and create new theme colors you can make the first one white and the next one yellow whatever you want to do so the rest of the game is pretty simple you just copy and paste the slides and fill in the questions and answers now as you can probably tell this is a little tedious so if you like to make multiple games it's good to have a jeopardy template which is just a blank game all these are blank but you have all the slides in the right order and it's all set up so you can just put in the questions and answers and then you're done so um as i said before it does take a little more time than an online template but the great thing about powerpoint is you can really mess around with it and add animations and graphics in any way you want so i'm going to show you one time where i actually did that thing i'm just going to show you um a um jeopardy game i made for a science class and as you can see as you will see it's very fun oh whoops sorry i'll try another one because i know i did get one to work no okay never mind but uh let's see this guy should work i'm very sorry about this maybe not okay never mind well as you can see there are a lot of effects that you can do so it's great and what i was talking about before is i like to make a lot of jeopardy games so i have this it's a jeopardy template just a whole bunch of blank slides going down all the way to final jeopardy and it's just already filled in so it's nice and easy for me to just add the answers so that is how you make your very own jeopardy game using microsoft powerpoint thank you for watching
