hello this is Tom sides from sports Ingo magazine today I'm going to be showing you how to make a crow rack decoy as well as a step-by-step video on how to make you grow a rack there's also going to be some shoots in footage at the end to show what the like in the field the materials needed to make a correct decoy paper stay put pair of scissors some small cable ties bamboo cane and household bin bags unravel the bin bags until the seam becomes visible then what you do is simply fold the bag in half and cut down this seam out of one bag even produced enough material to make two decoys for a second once you've got you section unfold it to the correct size which should produce this square take the bamboo cane and now you don't have to be too precise in this scrunch the material up put it round the cane and tie it up now you're left with the swap of a bag on you Kate now why are the cane on top of the bag like so take these two opposite corners and pull these both into the middle tie a knot like so as you can see it starts to take a bit more shape now take the bottom corner and just pay not in it this is almost as acting as the tail now that we have the rough shape we'll just reinforce all the knot so they don't slip in any wind so all your excessive push the cane down bamboo canes all right around the knot okay take the second knot push it up against the cane take your other cable tight pull it round the cane and the knot the second cable tie not only keeps the not secure but it also means that you can regulate how much air goes into the decoy now we've got the basic design it's time to make sure that the wind gets trapped in here the bottom flap simply push together and put one paper staple halfway along this should keep the air trapped now it's just a simple case of trim off the excess on your cable ties and there you have it there's one functioning crow decoy as well as being lightweight these Kerdi clothes are also very easy to use simply squash them up into bundles and put them into a bag when you get to the field take them out the bag hold on to the bamboo Kade give it a little flap around in the wind and then open it up and there you go that will catch the breeze nicely and there'll be a little bit of movement here's some footage of these rags in action from back in April over some trillions hope you enjoyed the films and thank you very much for watching you
