hello! in this video, I am going to share my experience on air layering of my kolke plant (Cascabela thevetia). now see I am trying to join this 2 different colors 6 Kolke plants together this is my third try, before this, I have failed twice. now I am going to open the polythene, let's see this time I have succeeded or not. yes, you see successfully the six plants are joined together. from now it will be assumed as one trunk. I had done this air layering by wrapping this polythene, one month ago. again I will wrap the trunk with polythene for the next one month now I will show why I have failed 2 time before and air layering process details in short now see I am separating the kolke plant after lifting them from the pot I have collected these plants one year ago, and planted them here now we will examine if it is possible to marge many plant into one I will remove the bark on the side of the plant which will be used to join keep an eye on how I am doing this now after setting them correctly, I am binding these plants tightly with wire and nylon thread. after one month they have started blooming now this is the condition after two months. now I will open the thread and see whether the join is successful or not you can see the join is not successful. but I don't understand why it's not happened. so I will try this again with the same method. now see before opening the thread I am repotting this plant in a bonsai pot now see my second attempt also failed. now I am trying this for the third time but a little differently. this time instead of binding the plants with wire and nylon yarn, I am binding it with polythene tightly, at the beginning of the video we have seen the condition one month after this process we have seen all plants have joint together perfectly and turned into one plant from this, we learn something that, until we bind this area with polythene tightly that makes a layer which can keep away the air from this area until then the air layering will not be completed.
