hello my name is sarah well and today i'm going to show you how to make a nice simple wedding buttonhole beautiful with the diamond tee some bear grass fern pell pin full gutted and it's ivory okay so first of all we've got a foam rose we've got some wires some hard wires all we're going to need is one wire some floristry gutter tape to bind the stems a dimenti pin for the center of the rose and a pearl pin for attaching okay um some bear grass and some asparagus fern okay so first of all we'll cut the buttonhole to size okay okay we'll get our wire and hold the foam rows just pop it up through the middle a little bit hold it and we'll get our gutter tape and we'll just bind it pulling it pulling it as we turn it all the way down the bottom okay cut the wire off there okay so now we've got quite a strong stem so we'll get a nice view of the rays so we'll stay there just pop it pull it down slightly okay we'll pop our diamond in so we get our diamonte pen cut it to size okay and then you just pop that through the middle like so and here's our asparagus then so we just cut some off there okay so what we need is a nice stem here so we can bind it to the buttonhole just take these bits off here and this is on a bendy stem okay so all i've done is just pop back at the back of the buttonhole so you've got a bit of stem there okay and then bind it with the glass tape again make sure you're pulling it as you're turning it okay all right now we want some nice bear grass swells so we get hot bear grass and we just cut a few strands off okay so we've got one strand of bear glass and to curl it all we do is use our nail and then just do this a couple of times to make it all spirally and then let the back of the buttonhole pop it down the back of the buttonhole and then just bind it on okay so just swirl it again and then do it again with this one and we'll put it this side and just bind it on okay so there you go okay so we've got some green paper leaves here which i personally cut off so we'll just cut them off i just think it looks a little bit nicer without them okay so there you have your button half and we'll just pop the pearl pin like so okay and that's ready to go
