McNasty DIY calm this video I'm going to show you how to install this really cool product called the war 2 vinyl flooring unlike a leather floor where it's made up of different kinds of woods and a veneer on top well this is vinyl straight through well basically if you have a flood in your basement or you like to mop your floor a million times a day you're not going to ruin it it's guaranteed for 25 years even I'm aware on I mean that's that's crazy no laminate could ever do that with I like it it's not the real thing but it feels like real wood looks like real wood and it's pretty cool stuff and the thing I really like about it can get wet don't worry about it I mean I will put the bottom of your pool but it's pretty cool stuff and it uses a whole shirt here like a big sticker like glue and that's how we're just going to lay them on top of each other real nice nice and tight and just push down and basically stick them all together and get coupling anyway well then I told you about the product let me show you how to install it so let's go install well then we're ready to start laying our floor down like a laminate where you would leave say a quarter inch or you know no just leave a gap here for expansion and contraction oh the vinyl does it's not going to do that so nice and tight it looks nice fortunately on this one we're going to be putting the trim over this anyway but you know the connect the ends hold it on a slight angle join the ends where they really meet up nice and clean pretty simple just want to make sure that they are nice and even because if they're not well that's just going to be catastrophic for you later on lay it in tight and a little pressure on it and that's it that's connected looks good alright next piece again he's like a laminate floor you don't want to put all these joints line them all up like that cuz that's not worried you would use your strength and it's not going to look very nice again so maybe like halfway on this one put it up tight against it and then lay it down a little pressure look at that that's done we're gonna keep going now we're will have a nice I mean I'm just feeling this right here feels like texture over wood looks pretty damn good and it feels good well let's keep going here and see we can get all this done all right again it's nice and tight push that in so what seems really tighten up really nice put your pressure down like they say don't want the little gaps in here you got this piece of paper that's in between each board business to keep everything nice and clean and scratch-free and of course your strips here because there's nothing that we're pulling off here that's and you feel that that's that's sticky again put it in like that I got that nice and tight go down the line you see how people on a slight angle click on one thing I don't want these two strips to make full contact then I won't be able to move like that again gotta love it you can do a whole big floor in no time with this stuff really nice well let me put it on fast motion for you guys tonight and enjoy it all right there's one other tip now this piece here we're going against the wall here well this is it the actual taped edge here now there's a little sticky stuff on but we want to cut that off now you can either use a knife and just score and snap it but some of these fancy cuts got a little innies and outies and so forth well pair of snips you can find these in any Home Depot in the siding area to the outside vinyl siding I like them Italia I use them for everything and on this stuff here works really just really good look at that I mean boom just like that alright 12 figure dad I'd be a nice little tip for you to know also okay hey I've been laying this floor which is like a box and a half now in about seven minutes I mean look at this that's really I mean this is really cool stuff I like this stuff a lot okay Wow one thing I want to point out and see if I realize that forgotten I've been cutting a couple pieces over here that are going into this closet what if the floor doesn't go but we're staggering them and if you look over on you this one side here you can see I'm staggering them yeah it's no rhyme or reason of how much you know but just stagger them so it so it looks nice if you can see the joints down over here if you're looking at it it looks like real one I mean and honestly I'm it's pretty good I mean I'm not part of local or uh war for at all but let's tell you what this stuff looks like real wood if I didn't know I would think was real with no difference again let me give you a close-up and show you how exacting um installed this floor come here closer I'm going to show you exactly come real close close closer get on top let me really see okay but basically we have the floor lay down and we got the next piece going and by the way did you notice there's no padding don't need it don't want it actually happy that would be bad for this kind of floor this would give you too much movement that we don't want so just think on the laminate you pay like $1 $2 $3 even for a square foot for the pattern other stuff mom nope don't need it don't want it then there's a slide this right under there then push it in to the net so you see this is really nice and tight now I mean boy - Billy see that see okay you want to hold that nice and tight on an angle and give it a little pressure in okay then what it looks good just push it down and you push them in at the same time okay real important and then I tell you and walk it on it right away would be the best thing that really you know push those seals down in there that's just I cut it gotta love this stuff I'm gonna go ahead and do this uh do this whole foot about 500 square feet I got a light and then I tell you other than that cuts I got to make this floor go pretty pretty pretty quick I have all seen a little while yeah well a couple hours later way the whole floor down relatively simple to do I mean once you got going on it you just keep going and going and going that looks pretty good I think it came out really good put some court finished our court around here that we got to do and I'll tell you take a close-up of that floor I mean it really looks real it feels real looks real any durables all can be that's what I like about it
