Please explain how to make a parfait

I'm chef Susie with learn to cook calm and today I'm going to be making a peach and raspberry parfait it's just a simple layering of peaches fresh raspberries with a little bit of whipped cream and I'm going to be putting these in a fluted champagne glass so knowing that let's get started I've got some fresh peaches that I chopped up earlier and I mix these with some vanilla extract and a little bit of granulated sugar and I set them aside so all of the flavors could seep together and I'm just going to be carefully layering these with the whipped cream and the raspberries and my fluted champagne glasses this is a really nice dessert for any afternoon or even an evening dinner party so I've got some whipped cream that I made earlier and I'm just going to be alternating my layers putting a few fresh raspberries you can't go wrong when it comes to fresh fruit and whipped cream especially peaches and raspberries it's a really nice combination for any time of year or even any time of day anything in a champagne glass especially fluted one is always so elegant you can even add a splash of liqueur in here if you'd like some Chambord would go really nice that's a black raspberry French liqueur really elegant even a little bit of amaretto some almond be a really nice touch and if once you get up to the top and press things in there a little bit to get rid of some of those gaps if you want and then we're just going to tap the whole thing off with some whipped cream maybe a slice peach and an additional fresh raspberry I left the skins on my peaches you can take them off if you like I just kind of like that look with the skin on but it's really whatever you like and a nice raspberry on top and this is our peach parfait we turn these around and thanks for joining me today at learned to cook calm and try these make them for your friends and family the love them super easy quick dessert looks very nice too we'll see you next time at learn to cook calm well thanks for joining us today at learn to cook calm be sure to comment and to subscribe also visit us on Facebook and Twitter have a great day and thank you
