hi I'm Jennifer Marino of almond eyes makeup artistry and I'm in cosmetics I'm here at DeRosa salon in Franklin Square with our lovely model Carmen today we're going to demonstrate for you some ideas on how to do makeup if you're going to an Arabian Nights theme party this is a great opportunity to take influences from traditional Arab makeup where there's a strong emphasis on the eyebrow and black liner on the top and bottom lid you can choose any other any color eyeshadow for this look for working with Carmen today I'm going to be using Browns and gold's I'm gonna stay in the neutral family so what we did with Carmen to achieve an Arab style look is we tightly lined the upper and lower lids of her eye closure artists and then we took a black shadow and we applied it in the corner blending it out into the outer V of the eye which is the outer third okay we blend that out very well and then we moved over to add a kind of honey copper color on the lid of the eye okay and then we top that off with a bit of gold we then took a frosty white highlight to add it right underneath the brow bone to get that highlight we also took a little bit of the same frosty white and added it to the inner corner of her eye then we finished it off open your eye space we finished it off with a healthy coating of mascara on the top and bottom lashes and we lined the inner rim of her upper and lower lid with a dark dark black liner I hope you enjoyed this short tutorial on how to apply makeup for an arabian night theme party if you'd like to contact me you can look me up on Facebook at almond eyes makeup artistry and I'd like to thank the Rosa salon in Franklin Square New York one more time for having us
