if you're planning on some alfresco dining this summer why not jazz up some vintage plates to bring a pop of color to your picnic blanket for this simple project you will need scissors a template of your choice newspaper a glue stick pattern plate spray paint and if you'd like to hang your plate you'll also need a self-adhesive plate hangar to start off with cut around your template we're using this lovely bird from the book but you can use whatever shape you'd like next lay out newspaper to protect your surfaces and make sure you're in a well-ventilated space preferably outside apply glue on to the back of the template and stick firmly down onto the plate then spray away make sure the plate is evenly covered and then leave to dry completely once dry carefully peel off the template to reveal the pretty pattern underneath finally if you'd like to display your plate turn it over and fix the plate hunger to the back according to its instructions and there you go you could create a whole collection of crockery in different colors sizes styles whatever you fancy thanks for watching if you enjoyed this project we'd love you to subscribe to our Channel where you'll find plenty more things to make see you next time
