hi guys she just woke up from a nap and needed a diaper change so I figured I would show you guys how to put on cloth diapers specifically pocket diapers but you can use the same on all-in-one diapers because they have the same sort of snap system going on so I will show you guys how to do that but first I want to show you guys how the snaps look and where they're placed and all that stuff that way you can better understand how to put them on so let's try it out alright so there are some cloth diapers right here like this ones that only have waist snaps as you can see it works okay but I prefer the ones that has two layers because it has more support that way especially when your kid has already started to crawl and walk around and play it's better to have two layers for extra support so these are the waist snaps so here's a picture of one of the not-so-great brands of diapers it's called baby city don't buy it uh-huh it only has one row of snaps and as you can see the sides kind of fell off after a while the one I showed you earlier actually works pretty well so that one's okay but it doesn't have a label sorry so I don't know where it's from here's one right here that has two layers snaps see right here at the bottom there's two and the flap right here has three that way this will snap this hip snap will go right there and then the waist ones go up here it holds it in place much better that way don't mind you're over there alright so there are also other kinds that have full snaps like this for the waist and the hip and there are only two buttons on the flaps like this so they can be secured evenly Oh like this wherever they fit and the other side would operate there you go tada so that works too there are also other ones where the hip snap is all the way at the front aligning with the last one right here so that when you make it pretty rainbow snaps so when you put it on instead of it being over here like the other one you snap it in I usually start with the one that's further away right here like that and then I go for the bottom one and then the top one so there's just really different snaps on different diapers but you can easily figure out where they go and of course there's also the velcro ones if you want those are easier to do but the thing with the velcro is that it wears out over time but the snaps will last you pretty much forever if you take care of them properly all right so let's get on with putting it on okay the first step is for it see your baby right away bubbles come here okay the first step is trying to get your baby to cooperate of course if you have a younger one you won't have a problem but I have a runner right here and she has a toy so she can stay still yeah you get your diaper ready open up the snap I have oh yeah you helping me explain me of a diaper liner because we are liner people all right usually honey bubbles I love it when you speak can I talk last usually when you have yeah disposable diapers it goes all the way up here like way back there but for cloth diapers I think you know what I'm filming huh for cloth diapers you want it to sit right where the hips are right here that way it hugs their hips nice and comfortably so when you have it placed nicely ready spread your legs my books and cover like that making sure that the seams right there or right at the edge this will make sure that it fits perfectly and that it doesn't leak yup yeah so the next step is to take the flap and I'm going to if you could move your hand my darling I'm going to push this forward first and then pull it upwards and then snap it down I start with a hip snaps because it keeps it in place are you all your growling now and now you can just snap the the waist snap in place perfectly once you put that first one in you kind of can tell where the rest will go so we'll do the next side now a bit nice and flat right here so it has a nice fit to it and then we're gonna take the flap at the bottom of the hip one and snap it in place doing that make sure that the diaper goes over their hips so that it stays in place pop ups and I will snap the rest together and of course you will snap wherever it fits your child just the back but make sure are you running away come on I need you to lie down for just a little bit longer okay min ruff a little bit longer don't cry okay I'll be fast I'll be fast make sure that there are no gaps right here so you don't have leaks but make sure also that it's not too tight see I can insert my finger and pull that means it fits good and just feel around to make sure that nothing is pinching the skin and we're done thank you all right you can escape now bye-bye okay that's pretty much it I hope you guys saw that clearly and I hope she didn't like talk over me so much that you could understand please let me know if you have any more questions about it so it could make another video and be more specific about it this was kind of just too spur-of-the-moment type thing I'm like hey she needs a diaper change so we might as well make a video out of it kind of thing I hope you guys enjoyed and I hope it was helpful and if it was please give it a thumbs up because it helps us a lot and if you're new please subscribe for more videos okay thanks for watching guys I'll see you on the next video bye
