hi I'm Jill hi I'm Molly we're going to show you how to do a French braid today okay so herders dry um she just slept on it so we're gonna just get it a little bit wet especially around the crown and the the back in her ears because that is where it's gonna show on the braid I'm just gonna brush pretty much straight back cuz we're just gonna start in the middle and go back okay so now I'm just gonna start with just a little section of her bangs I'm going to split it into three sections one two three our French braid is just like a regular braid you're going to take the outside strand cross over the middle and then take the other side and cross over the middle now this time I'm going to cross over the middle but I'm going to add hair to it some people add hair before they cross it some cross it I think it's just a little bit easier to hold when it's already across so that's why I do that so just added hair over the middle and I'm going to hold it with this hand will I pull up a piece you'll notice I use the comb to pick up the front pieces and then I'll stop doing that in a minute just because the front is just a little bit um thinner hair cross over the middle pick a pair cross over the middle cross over don't you see some bumps oh I'm just gonna call me again just to try to smooth out some of those homes you can fix them afterwards but it's a little bit easier to fix and while you're going if you notice then this part is just a regular braid cross over the middle cross cross cross till you get down to the end and you grab a rubber band lastic or a hair tie or correct there you go I normally just hairspray it and just kind of smooth these a little flyaways if there are any it's very likely so that's it such a French braid you can do it in a diagonal you can go across you can I mean there's a million different ways you can do it now that you have the basic techniques here's the final spin thanks for watching today if you like us give us our thumbs up and please subscribe so you don't miss any of our tutorials thanks bye bye
