subscribe to Rajshri food and click on the bell icon for more updates Shami kabab is very very popular non-vegetarian tissue but today I'm going to show you a vegetarian version for it so let's see how first I'm going to start with dry roasting a few spices for it so I have two Kashmiri dry red chilies here next I'm going to add 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds 3 to 4 cardamoms 4 cloves 1 piece of cinnamon 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds let's roast them till you gather aroma of all the spices the spices are nicely roasted and the colors also changed and now let's grind them into a powder let's open these cardamom pods and get the seeds out now let's pry this into a powder also add in 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and let's keep this masala powder on the site let's starts watching a few ingredients for the kebab so first I am going to heat one tablespoon of oil once oil is nice and hot I am going to add in 1 onion finely chopped also one teaspoon of garlic paste let's add in three green chilies finely chopped there are two main ingredients for this kebab first one is some gram dal that are soaked for two hours and then I put very little oil and pressure cook them drain out all the excess water or moisture that is there in this dal next one is some soya granules have taken half a cup of soya granules boil them for 15 minutes and drain out all the water also lightly squeeze out all the water so let's add both these ingredients into the pan saute this till you dry out all the excess moisture this mixture is nicely dried and now I'm going to transfer it into the grinder let's dry this mixture in a coarse paste let's check on this this is nicely done even if there are some leftover granules of some chana dal or soya that's absolutely fine let's remove this into a bowl I'm just going to add one potato boil and mash into this mixture so that it pulls everything together and mix it properly with all the other ingredients let's add the ground masala powder three tablespoons of mint leaves finely chopped three tablespoons of coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoons of gram flour and salt to taste give this a good mix this mixture is ready and now let's shape the kebabs take a portion of the mixture and make a flat round let's roll it on the board to smoothen out the edges let's keep it aside in this way let's roll all the kabobs the kabobs are ready to be fried so in a fan have kept some oil to heat and now I'm going to place these kabobs into the pan let's check on these beautifully round be very careful while flipping them these are done let's get them out so for your next party dazzle your non-vegetarian friends with this vegetarian version of the kebab and do let me know how they enjoyed it subscribe to the channel and don't forget to comment below I'll see you soon bye bye
