I still may be showing you how to make a fringe top fringe tops are quite you know on trend this well at the moment and I think they'll be in might spring summer this year I've seen quite a few in Topshop and places like that and I thought I would show you how to do it because Topshop you know sell them for about fifteen to twenty pounds depending on when you get and but they're so easy to make and if you have a t-shirt that you know you might like it's quite vintage looking but you might not always wear it this is a really really cool way to like update it a fun piece to wear so what I'm aiming for us something like this this one is from beyond retro in London so you can see there's like fringe on the sleeves of fringe on the bottom and that was like a like an hourish shape if I was right the one I'm doing it doesn't it's it's like a vest top so I won't be doing the sleeves but if you want to do one with sleeves like that go for it yeah so it's really really easy all you need at the top and you need a pair of scissors it depends how many tassels and how thick you want the tassels to be so you can you know cut bigger sections than that or you can cut smaller sections and that I'm going to show you just an easy way of how to create it keep watching for how to make a fringe top okay so here's the top that I'm cutting yeah it's really hard to try and show you with because of the camera angle but yeah sorry about that and so because you probably won't be able to see me for most video hello as scissors and so yeah oh fabric scissors are best but I just have these scissors which were like in the kitchen basically any scissors will work just not really really bad crappy ones really but yeah if you have fabric scissors they're the best ones to use it's really up to you how you want to cut it I mean how far up you want to cut it I'm going to cut mine I think just to kind of this red line here because it's really up to you how short you want it to be if you want it to be like a crop top or if you want it to be longer with just some fringe down here obviously a lot of you'll probably be cutting t-shirts which have more of a sleeve so okay starting from here you're just going to cut strips basically all the way across so if I buy cutting and then you want them to be about that that thick I mean again it's up to you it's quite up to you about that thing just keep going make sure that's about as well is in it when you're cutting it okay so now I've cut all the tassels all the fringe bits it looks like this okay and then now I'm going to and all you do is just pull on the fringe to kind of get that worn in effects like obviously you're not like you've just cut it and it looks me a crap what I'm gonna do is just like hold on it I'm going to hold it up here at the top so it doesn't obviously put on just the top and just pull on it and let go kind of a light tug all right so this is how the top looks now there's the front and but I just might cut some of the fringe off because it's quite long because I didn't I didn't trim any off the bottom I started so I'm just going to cut about an inch off the bottom so it's about as long as this one as opposed to the others so I just cut off an inch so I hope you found this video helpful it's quite fun to do it's just something you know something different and I haven't seen many people do this video before so I thought it might just be helpful if you want other videos on how to cut tops a certain way and I might start doing like different ways of cutting a t-shirt or something like that that's pretty fun to do for summer so yeah I'm just again this is the top of that this outcome of my Run DMC top yeah I think it's quite cool and I'll be wearing this this summer if not if not in London then like when I go on holiday on the beach so yeah thank you so much for watching leave any requests down below hope you're having a good day and I will see you when it's video bye Oh
