hey guys it's Jessica and welcome back to the sugar crystal kitchen today I'll be showing guys how to make this tart and refreshing strawberry sorbet since you guys have really enjoyed my other sorbet videos I decided I should just make this an annual thing again this is two ingredients which makes it super simple so let's get right into the recipe to begin I already froze two cups of fresh strawberries overnight so they are nice and solid like ice cubes I then pop them into a food processor and as many of you guys have asked before a smoothie blender will work just fine here afterwards I slipped on the lid and pulsed the strawberries until they became nice and fine like sand as you can see the texture right now is like a granita very grainy which is why we are going to add in one to two tablespoons of lemon juice a little bit at a time and keep blending until the strawberry lemon juice mixture becomes smoother and more sorbet like at this point you can stop the food processor and scoop the sorbet into a glass container you can serve the sorbet immediately if you would like but if you plan on having it later place it into the freezer and you can store it in there for up to three months why I'm ready to eat just allow the sorbet to thaw in the fridge for 20 minutes prior to serving anyways that is it for this wonderful strawberry sorbet recipe with only two ingredients and no ice cream machine necessary this recipe is quick and effortless and is a must try if you guys enjoyed this week's video don't forget to leave me a thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't already and I will see you all next time thanks for watching
