a great way to enjoy the iconic more summer treat without the campfire smoke or marshmallow mess is what's more than jar it's really easy it's great for your guests to enjoy for dinner party or under stars for your camp yarns barbecue okay first where you're going to do is start off with graham crackers what I usually do is the graham crackers usually in the package is using some crumbled one so I'll put them in a jar come home even more with a half ticket melted butter and you're going to mush that around get all that buttery deliciousness all with the graham crackers you're going to pile that into your jar I love this pint-sized jar it has the wide mouth it's really fun you can use it to store stuff after and it's great for the recipe I'm gonna take it you're going to smoosh it all along the bottom for the graham cracker crust then what you're going to do is your inner whips together one egg three fourths cup of brown sugar there's no more lumps spin a half a cup of milk a half a cup of heavy cream and a half of melted butter with two doll too sour cream after you have all that mixed up go ahead and do your dry ingredients of one-fourth cup of cocoa powder and one-fourth cup of flour all-purpose flour you're just going to whisk that together and then put it in with your batter mix it puts nice and chocolaty for you to enjoy the best part of s'mores which is a chocolate part you're going to pour it into your s'mores jar looks so good okay after that you're just going to drop this in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes now here's a really good oven tip every time you want to open up your oven to see how your s'mores cake is doing maybe every 10 minutes you're letting out twenty percent of energy so let it sit for just 30 minutes you'll actually save some energy on your electric bill you're going to pop out in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 and then once that happens you're going to put some marshmallows on top put them on the broiler for four or five minutes and you actually have roasted marshmallows right out of the oven so something else I love about this recipe is that you can actually do this for the dinner party you can make the graham cracker crust ahead the s'mores cake ahead and then as your guests are finishing out their entrees popping the marshmallow for four to five minutes in the broiler it'll be a nice warm summer treat that you can enjoy at any party don't forget to love to live and live love every day with live laugh and learn with filling in with mr. appliance for this recipe and more appliance energy tips check out our Twitter Facebook and Pinterest
