yeah welcome to my channel today i'm going to make a puerto rican flan and i'm going to show you the ingredients okay for the recipe we need a can of evaporated milk and a can of condensed milk we need one teaspoon of vanilla extract we need four eggs large we need a cup of granulated sugar for the candle a blender and we need a baking pan to put the mix in here and another baking pan a little bit bigger because we're going to put water in here and then we're going to put the mix in here we're going to preheat the oven at 350 and i'm going to show you how to make the caramel okay we're going to put the sugar and we're going to be careful we don't burn the caramel because since we burn the caramel it's not going to taste good it's going to look kind of sour so i have it right now in medium heat and i'm going to when my sugar stone start dissolving i'm going to lower the heat you see the sugar start dissolving and when that happens we're going to lower the heat right now i have it in a high a medium high and don't don't put your never put your fingers inside because they can cause severe and burns and you can use a wooden spoon okay you don't have to add anything else just make sure okay what i did was i turned my heat completely off and i left this because you know i don't my my burner's still on so you want to have like a light brown color like that and all the sugar is dissolved so we're going to put this in a baking pan and be careful then you're going to spread this you can use any baking pan don't have to be glass you can use the disposable spool disposal and all metal any kind you have okay carefully cover with a caramel now we're gonna let it sit in here and we're gonna do the mix for the flan okay i'm gonna mix my evaporator milk my condensed milk we're gonna put the four eggs and we're going to add one teaspoon of vanilla extract we're going to blend this for only a few minutes now we're gonna pour let's see we have the caramel the caramel has to be cold we're gonna pour the uh you hear that noise don't be scared that noise is normal okay i have water we're gonna put the uh this in here and then we're gonna bake this for about an hour at 350 i have my oven preheat and but remember every oven is different or which i would a fork or with the wood a stick if that came out clean comes out clean it's ready it is still wet just leave it for a few minutes okay this is my flan i'm going to pass a butter knife around the edges and then i'm going to let it cool down in here on top of this table before i turn this one around okay i should actually the final result now i have a plate you grab a plate flat plate like this and then we're going to flip this in this in the big plate let me put the camera down like this okay this plant is still hot so you have to let it um you have to let it um cool a little bit more or just i just can't wait and then um and then you flip them okay i'm to cut a piece and i'm going to show you i still have it i don't care and it's real creamy let me give you a close look it's real creamy but um you can put it in a refrigerator and let it cool down and then you know ready to eat so don't forget to like subscribe and comment on my videos thank you and enjoy bye you
