hi dears campers and crackers my name is Tammy white from stamp with Tammy calm and today I'm gonna show you how to make this beautiful stunning drop-dead gorgeous Christmas card from the brand new Stampin Up star of light stamp set and this is a viewers Choice card from my recent 40 cards from the Stampin Up holiday catalog it is gorgeous a fantastic choice thank you to all who voted for this car because it is amazing and it was designed by Janice York it's super easy to make I think you're absolutely gonna love it let's get started just stunning stunning using the Stampin Up star of light stamp set and framelit bundle it's created with some of Stampin ups new copper foil from the new copper product line and the new star of light stamp set and Starlight thinlit bundle that's in the Stampin Up holiday catalog great for the Christmas winter holidays it is just gorgeous on everything I have lots of ideas for this on my blog I also have all of the measurements and all these supplies are available on my Stampin Tama dot-com blog simply by going to this URL or clicking on the link in the description below and there is a free PDF file there for you as well I'm gonna start with the white background first using some Versamark ink pod which is a watermark hanging pad and this is the swirly from the set I'm stamping it add a little bit of a diagonal now I'm using the white heat embossed but you could also use clear sense while working on whisper white cardstock just pouring that right over the top flicking off any excess and this is going to create our resist background we taking the Stampin Up heat tool and we'll heat this it's not as easy to see with the white but it is so cool okay so once it's all melted now we can do the resist technique which is equally as cool and then we'll heat emboss with some copper we'll take some rich Razzleberry ink and a Stampin sponge dauber gonna dip that in the ink and just by going in a little circular motion just around our pattern darkest where the pattern is and then feathering it just a little bit by going in a circular motion around the edge isn't this cool so this is giving us a resist technique the heat embossing is resisting the ink which gives us this beautiful look it's not just gorgeous I love it okay now for a phase two of our heat embossing we're gonna heat emboss our words in copper again the Versamark ink pad and stamp our words a little Christmas spirit brightens all the world in the lower right corner and we'll just pour the copper embossed powder over the top of that and then we'll heat that just like we did with the white it's just stunning just wow so fun you can use snail adhesive which is a double sided tape to attach all of our panels to the card base again all of these measurements are on my blog on the free pdf oh it's just so cool already and now to step it up and just make it amazing from the start of light framelits we'll be taking you you will be taking four framelits from the star of light so these four we've got the Big Shot platform that comes with it then die adapter that comes with it as well I'll be using the precision base plate I use this anytime we have intricate dies and we can cut them all at just line them up over the cardstock place one cutting pad on top and crank it through the big shot oh these copper stars are just killing it so amazing so our copper pieces are solid they'll just pop right out but for the intricate layers on the sweet sugarplum and on the rich Razzleberry you're gonna want the die brush and the mat to just run over them to pop out all of the little tiny little pieces it makes it so easy and if it doesn't get them all you can just run it over that quick after you'll notice I have mine in a little Stampin Up half case it's for the wood mount stamp sets and you can purchase these cases and I'll have the information on my blog for you too if you're interested in that does hold all of these tiny little pieces so they don't make a mess all over your workstation and they're just gorgeous or just gorgeous and then you just wait pop that in the trash and you're good to go now here's the order of the star assembly and we will be using the fine tip glue pen for this just gonna place little light dabs and then line that up and place it down on the copper and that home phone is just really cool and it gets even better when we attach these other pieces the same way and last but not least this little star will go on top and this panel is just stunning it's like the star on top of your Christmas tree it just is a beautiful ornament stand out and Willis will attach this to the card with some stampin dimensionals on the left and for our finishing touch we'll use some rhinestone jewels right in the center ah it's just stunning it's so big eautiful so there's one more magic touch that Janice added to hers and I didn't have it I can't believe I didn't have it thought I had everything copper but apparently I need to place an order for this it is the copper threading that she just thread it underneath the star before she attached it and it is absolutely stunning so mine is Threadless and hers is threaded and they're both absolutely gorgeous gorgeous again there's a free pdf on my blog with all of the measurements for this card be sure to check out the hundreds of other awesome videos that I have over
