Hello everyone it's Jeff Stroub here with
Stroub Design LLC. Today I'm going to show you how to put a decal on tumbler. The first thing you'll want to do is clean
your tumbler off and make sure there's no dirt on it... or that it's not dirty. Ok and now you're ready to put the decal on. Feels like I've dried it off here, so good to go. The next step take your decal and put it
on a flat surface and go over it with a squeegee, gift card or credit card. I'm using gift card here. Just to make
sure that it's going to stick to that top layer of the application tape. The next step is to peel back the
backing paper and this normally helps to lay it face down on the flat surface as
well. So you only want to peel back the backing paper about halfway and use your scissors to cut that portion of the backing paper off. Now you're ready to
align it to your cup. So what I normally do is look about
between the "E" and "T" here and I've also made my tab placed in the
center to align with this as well. So that gives me two reference points to go
off of. Ok now you want to make sure that the
vinyl sticky section this right half here doesn't touch and you can hold the
decal down on the backing paper section. So now I've got it
about where I want to be i can take my credit card... gift card and squeegee it down. Alright and then repeat that step
again after you peel off the rest of the backing paper. And I like to go over it a
few times just to make sure that it's stuck down to the surface. You can even use the back of your fingernail or... you can even use your fingernail to go over some
of the edges to make sure that it's stuck. And then after that you should be good
to go just remove the application tape from the cup and it's good to remove it
by pulling it close to the surface and at an angle. Alright we're good to go! If you have
