this video is going to be about edging up to a textured ceiling so when you are enging along a textured ceiling like this this type of ceiling is is common in older homes but it can pose some problems for getting a nice straight line when you want to do your edging right up to the ceiling for this you're not able to use any tape or anything on the top of this type of ceiling so what you want to do is freehand and you're gonna just drag your brush along nice and gently with about that much paint you just want to go close to the ceiling go back sometimes I flip the brush over smooth out the amount of paint that you have on the wall and then just gently go along the top so just nice and slow it's actually not that difficult once you get onto it having a nice straight edge up against the textured ceiling distributing the pain too even late and sometimes what I do is use the shorter edge to cut in if you have the right amount of can can you brush it's not that difficult so that much then just make sure you smooth it out feather it out that's how you age to a textured ceiling
