okay the constrictor knot for tying the stuff sack closed take a two or three foot piece of cord somewhere near the middle loop it around the bag cross over itself come back around the back underneath the original cord then all i want to do is take the end that i'm working with here this end i'm going to go under this guy grab that piece wrap around that guy and through here pull that in pull this in there cinches down the tighter you pull the harder it holds it's difficult to get undone um you the way to get it undone is not to try to pull these pieces but instead to grab one working one end work it that way grab the other end work it this way grab that and work it that way and then that build that gives you some slack usually that you can so work back and forth like this and you can get the piece off the reason i like to tie the slippery constrictor on the bag is because um it's quick to tie and much quicker to untie so it works exactly the same way you're just going to tie the last part with a bite instead of slipping the whole end through all right so now that i've got that instead of working the end around and through i'm going to take this piece form a bite with it bring the bite under over and through same knot but now that last piece is done with a bite that way when i pull this end the whole thing pops apart you
