hi today we learn how to make Peonies
out of crepe paper for this you need a pair of scissors, 2 flexible thin wire, a
straight thick wire, any colored crepe paper floral tape, glue and plier. cut stencil
on stiff paper according to the stencils given and all of these should be
measured in centimeters. The first stencil is petal A which should be cut in
eight pieces the second stencil is Petal B which should be cut in six pieces. The third stencil is petal C which should be cut in six pieces the Fourth stencil is petal D which should be cut in six pieces the 7th stencil which is last one should be cut in another six pieces. i have cut out the stencil of the petals. Petal A is
supposed to be cut out like this rest of the petals are supposed to be
cut out according to their shape. This is the Double crepe paper which opens up to
be a long sheet. you take one of the stencils and place it vertically
according to the grain on the crepe paper, trace it out and then cut it. you take petal A and shape it by pulling top of the petal in opposite directions that it forms
frills and be careful that you don't tear the paper.This method is called crimping. I have cut out the petals according to the
stencils and now you need to shape them now you take petal B and crimp the
top of the petal in the same way as petal A this is how it looks like. You place both
your thumbs in the center of the petal and pull both of its side in the opposite
directions this is called cupping and turns out to
be this and in the similar manner i have crimped and cupped petal C, D and E. You take the two flexible wires and twist one inch of it at one side. you take the twisted end in your left
hand and take petal A and place it between the two wires. Now you push it towards
the left so that it forms gathers and twist twice the other end so that it
tightens. and in the similar way you link all the
other eight pieces of petal A. now you take petal B and put it in the
similar way to the petals linked before. you push it towards the left and then twist the wire, the other end of the wire twice so that it tightens. and looks like this. Now you take Petal C and again put it between the wires and push it towards the left and then twist
the other end of the wire twice so that it tightens and it looks like
this put the petal B and C order alternatively so that we use up all the six petals of them and which looks like this. You place petal D
and E alternatively till you use all the six petals of them.
that petal B and now you're placing petal E. Twist the wire twice and tighten it, which
looks like this. This is how all the Petals will look after being linked to
each other Now you take the floral tape and the big straight wire and you are
supposed to wind the tape all around the wire. till the end.After you taped the
wire you take a plier and bend one inch of the top which looks like this. You take the hook
of the wire and place it between the first and second petals of petal A now you're supposed to wind the wire
around the hook and keep winding it tightly till the end after you reach the end of the petal
you wind a bit of the left out wire around the flower to tighten it and cut
off the excess It looks like this open the petals a bit put glue on the base of the flower and cover it with floral tape this is how it should look like after
you have taped the base of the flower and here's your peony. thank you for watching my video
