Please explain how to use pinto bean sprouts

hi I'm Christina Jackson natural food chef and holistic health coach we're here today at the Venice farmers market and we're amongst all these amazing sprouts what I'm gonna talk to you about is the pinto bean sprout I'm sure you've all seen the pinto beans maybe you've gotten it Mexican food your refried beans or your Taco Bell refried beans this is the real deal here this is before any of that happens this is actually sprouted and what's sprouting means is you're taking the actual bean you're soaking it you're rinsing it and you're draining it and you're giving it some time to actually activate all the vitamins and the nutrients that are in there so you're activating the enzymes and what that's gonna do is help your body break it down so your body's not going to work so hard to break it down because the process has already started when you sprout so you're absorbing more vitamins and nutrients you have your vitamin B of your iron you have your proteins so this is amazing for your body the pinto beans here as you can see they look like the regular beans as you would purchase but they're a little softer you're still going to have a crunch to it and that delicious flavor you can eat them raw and you can eat them as a snack you can take those throw them in a salad and if you let them go a little longer you'll start to see a little tendrils starting to form on them but next time at your farmers market and you're feeling a little adventurous give this a try or go ahead and try them at home try sprouting them at home give them a little love and TLC all right happy shopping thanks for watching be sure to catch our other videos here at Mahalo com and if you don't see something that you'd like to see email me at request at Mahalo calm and don't forget to subscribe so you can catch all of our other videos we'd be putting out here see you next time you
