welcome to into the kitchen with me chef Cynthia Louise where we eat everybody we do not die here there's no dieting it's just eating and nourishing and filling ourselves up with goodness one of the questions I get asked a lot a lot is how to store nuts and seeds and it's a it's a great question actually and I love it I live in Indonesia and it is hot here okay so those humidity levels really do make my nuts and seeds go rancid and what does that mean well the heat and the humidity somehow gets into these glasses stuff I don't know how it happens where is that you can't see it you can't see it and it makes things go rancid and a rare to not taste like it actually taste it like the oil is spoiled in it it's hard to explain on camera but being with me it's almost like when you crunch into it you kind of get all that's not right it's a ransom okay and what that what happens is you can't use them and you can't salvage it and it's a waste of money so in a climate like this if you're in a hot climate I reckon you recommended by a cry back machine one of the greatest things I ever stumbled across with a cry bag machine and it's just it's epic my doctor Kalani is going to pass this to me this is a really true fan these are the bag let's go with it okay I think I bought this for about one hundred and hundred bucks I can't remember but what it does it does their tenth Edison 10 mm and so if you're in a hot climate this is the way to go if you are in a climate where it's hotter than Indonesia but it's more hot / and no humidity these go into the freezer and portioning them out to the sizes you want so I'm cooking in bulk I've got it in quite a a box size but if I was just cooking for my family it would be in little bits and pieces okay undated and put into the freezer so a cryovac machine will save you so much money it'll it'll actually preserve your ingredients if you're spending a lot of money on because what I find with a lot of people that are buying nuts and seeds they buy them they put them in these I leave them on the shelf they use them once right it's classic right we all do it and and they go back we go back to that and it's off and it's Ransome okay that's a waste of your money and that puts you in a kind of a pissed-off position in this industry in this healthy industry where you think I'm not going to do that again so this machine has saved me so much money it's kept my ingredients super fresh okay without having any air getting into it no humidity humidity can get into this it's the way to go it's one of the greatest inventions I don't know who invented this must be a woman right I'll see you next - I came into the kitchen with me chef Cynthia Louise but yeah storing nuts and seeds definitely definitely this machine is going to save you a lot of money bye
