hi again this is www.shoeraner.com drawingschool um and i've been asked by my youtube friend savannah if i can show you how to draw a poodle so this is what i've drawn and i'm going to show you how to do it so get everything together and let's go okay let's get okay let's get drawing and we got uh eraser pen and pencil and as ever i want you to start drawing with the pencil very very lightly just on the surface of the paper don't press too hard or else you'll never be able to rub the pencil out okay um what we need is kind of in the middle um what would you call that it's kind of a triangle with uh it's kind of a right angle handed triangle with soft corners curves yes and then um on top of that you're going to want a kind of a pointy bit like that which is going to be the head and on top of it there's a great big pom-pom and the ears coming down below you can see the shape coming now uh the legs are very long and they can be done in many different ways but i'm going to do them just sort of kind of simply so that they've been just trimmed a little bit but they're kind of long and uh furry furry floppy sheepy dow i don't know what do you call it what you call poodle ver it's kind of like um sheep have wool woolly that's the word i'm looking for and a tail sticking out at the bottom um and now you just have to kind of draw all around in a really kind of woolly kind of way so if you kind of draw with this kind of woolly line around everything and so that's the kind of the top bit and the ear and bring them knows that a little bulge on the end of it like that and then kind of a posh kind of um brutally kind of slightly snooty a poodle snooty i don't know i think they're like every other animal they all have different each animal is different i've known snappy boogles and i've known very nice soft cuddly friendly poodles little collar like that and then we just keep going with this kind of woolly line all the way down and you can kind of have feet like that and keep that windy line going all the way around and you can curl it all the way around onto the back leg that and of toes kind of built into that curly line at the bottom and a big pom-pom on its tail then his front leg is coming behind kind of like that and his back leg will be stepping out like that and i can i'm going to put lots of um woody bits in but i'll speed those up just to get through the drawing there we go and i put some little wiggles on there like that a little bit of shading behind there like that and i'll get my hair dryer to make sure it's completely dry before i erase it i tried to think how old it is now i've been using it day after day i'm surprised it hasn't broken down 1984 i think i got it which makes it quite old um okay and we can put a bit of shading underneath there maybe a little bit like that and a line in the background given horizon a little bit of shading on the brown oh my nose is still a bit pencilly and pink pink first in show there we go prize poodle i hope you like that savannah um always come back to www.com for more drawing lessons and uh and there's lots of exciting other stuff on my website and if you want to know how to draw something let me know bye
