hey everybody I'm here today to show you how to creep forward in a manual car I actually have two cameras mounted in this car for this tutorial I have a camera up there that will show you my gear shifter right here and I also have a camera right here that is underneath my steering wheel to show you my feet and the pedals creeping forward in a in a manual car is actually a really simple process you're gonna start off by pushing the clutch in and you're gonna have your right foot on the brake and you're gonna put the gear selector in first gear now in order to keep forward you are going to release your right foot from the brake and you're gonna press and hold down the gas pedal very very slightly then you're gonna release slowly start to release your left foot on the clutch and bring it bring it up okay and you're gonna just basically hold the clutch when you feel the car start move you're not going to continue to release you're gonna hold the clutch in one spot once the car starts moving okay just like this car is in first gear the clutch just pressed down I'm gonna start pressing the gas ever so slightly bringing the RPMs up ever so slightly then I'm gonna slowly release the clutch until I start to feel the car move forward the car is now moving forward I'm holding the clutch here as the car moves forward just like that I'm creeping forward when I want to stop I press the clutch in and then I press the brake clutch in and brake and that's how you creep forward let's do one more time I'm gonna press the gas bring the RPMs up ever so slightly then release the clutch slowly until the car starts moving and now the car started moving I'm gonna hold the clutch there continue to move forward when I'm ready to stop I'm gonna press the clutch in and press the brake down now just a quick tip you are not going to want to press the gas down more when you find when when you when the car starts to move most people when they're trying to learn how to creep forward in a manual car they'll do something like this okay they'll start pressing the gas down release the clutch until the car moves forward and then when they find that the car is moving forward now we'll press the gas that's not what you want to do you don't want to do that you're press the gas down bring the RPMs up and hold them you know what about I would say about 1500 rpm and then release the clutch slowly when you find that the car starts moving like it is right now you're gonna hold the clutch there and hold the gas there just hold it there and when you want to stop press the clutch in press the brake so remember don't push the gas more once the car starts moving just hold the gas in and the clutch in the exact same position once you find that the car starts moving and that's basically it in this video I have shown you how to creep forward in a manual car it's a very very useful tactic if you're just if you just want to move up slightly or move ahead slightly or if you're stuck in traffic when you are driving a manual car and that's all I have for you today thanks for watching
