what's going on my family and welcome back to another do-it-yourself video this is one of my more simpler do-it-yourself videos now I see it in a lot of the comments people say wear a different hat or you're always wearing the same hat why don't you switch it up show us a little bit of your collection well the main reason for that is because when I get a hat and I get it to fit my head right I like to wear all the time just because I'm comfortable with wearing it as you can see from the title of the video I'm going to teach you how to make a flat bill snapback into kind of like the rounded baseball hat now it's going to vary a lot you could have more bend than this you can have less Bend then this is all going to depend on how you want your hat for this video I picked up a van snapback now this is a camo snapback is $10 I pick it up just for this video and it has a bunch of beer mugs on it and seeing as how I just turned 21 this week this seems very fitting this is what the hat looks like before it is still flat build up here it's very puffy here that's just not the style that I like I want it to be fitting more towards my head so I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys the first step in this process first thing you're going to do for this is get the top in the bottom part of the bill wet as well as the rest of the Hat you want to get the whole inside pull outside wet just so it's ready to form next make sure that the snapback is the proper size for your head and then go ahead and put it on your head and make sure it fits once you soak the whole hat you might want to get your head west you can go ahead and put a paper towel inside the Hat just so it kind of soaks up some of that water while it's on your head when it's on your head you're going to want to pick the bend that you want to bill at so you can kind of just kind of form the bill a little bit and just play around with it till it feels comfortable on your head if you don't want a lot of Bend on the brim of the Hat all you got to do is bend it a little bit and just leave it and it'll dry like that and also on the top of here you're going to have to let this dry for a couple of hours now there's a way to speed this up which I'll tell you so since I'm wanting more of the baseball cap look what I'm going to do is take rubber bands and put them right here on the Hat I'm putting as many as I can until it bends to the way that I want it so I've got a couple target rubber bands on I know this looks ridiculous you can't really walk around with this so this is going to take about two hours to dry Cure's gonna let it air dry let's say you don't have two hours to walk around looking like a goofball with these on your head you can go ahead and take a blow-dryer and just kind of blow-dry it it'll speed up the process a lot but the sake of the video I went ahead and just did the blow-dry method and it took about 20 minutes and it's still a little bit damp I just want to show you guys for the video how it came out as you can see it fits a lot better on my head it's a lot less puffy up here my head is right there not instead of it being puffed up to probably about here and then the Bend of the brim is a lot better I'm loving the way that this fits because it's fitting just like my last one over there you can do this to any kind of habit you want I did it with a Thrasher one advance one you can do with like a trucker hat it's all up to you you can also do it off your head overnight and just kind of put the rubber bands on and give it a super bend because if you bend it too much it'll kind of press on your temple so you can give it a really good Bend overnight but it's just not going to form like you want to up here that's gonna wrap it up for this quick DIY I hope you guys enjoyed thank you so much for watching if you did like this video please leave a like down below my name is Harrison elbow I post a video every single Sunday and every single Thursday see you guys next time this is Harrison signing out 1996 I really love this shirt just the style of the fall in the back the little logo on the front I really am loving this I saw Stix back in OH
